What is so sad about your critical thinking is the failure to realize that if you are wrong (and I accept the notion that perhaps few people really know for sure) about global warming (and able to convince the majority) then your generation has doomed the planet, but if you are right (and everyone else has changed their way of lifestyles to produce less carbon) the only consequence is added cost and inconvenience (aka less selfishness) as we become more energy efficient and less dependent on fossil fuels. Long sentence, sorry. In other words, what do we lose by trying to be better custodians of the planet, other than selfishness?
