Call him what you will , he's still a gentleman of the highest caliber , and one of the best things to ever come out of or into Somerset -I suggest replacing that scrap metal monstrosity on the circle / square with a statue of the Congressman - Instead of the current traffic directing edifice that we now have , put a statue on the square of a man that brought untold monies and projects to Pulaski Co . - Even when in Washington , he's still one of us - And , probably a percentage of those that stood in his parking lot , are employed as a result of his political considerations -Don't look a gift horse in the mouth - His successor may not be so kind to the region - Think about that when you deposit your next paycheck -It may not be what you want , but it's keepin' you goin' -Back off the Starbucks , gym workouts , beauty shops , and Jenny Craig visits - You'll make it , thanks to folks like Hal -

The spending has been done by Obummer and the Democrats in Congress,Not by Hal.He has done all one can do when in the minority.Get all your friends to vote for Tea Party or conservative candidates and we would not be in this predicament.

Yeah Hal has got us a lot like that boondoggle called the center for rural development. They have a theatre they never use, Lots of meeting rooms that set empty, and just what do they do down there anyhow? Anyone know cause I sure dont?

This is the problem with Hal and the rest of the poloticians. They are spending to much of OUR MONEY for things we don't need and Can't Afford. AMERICA IS BROKE ALREADY! Stop Spending and START

The local Republicans and Tea Party sympathizers keep complaining about how wasteful the Federal Government is and keep screaming about how we have to be fiscally responsible and reduce the national debt. Yet every two years they reelect a man whose Congressional spending record is disgraceful at best. The problem lies not with duplicitous politicians in Washington, but rather with the people who keep these self serving individuals in office knowing full well what they are.

Agreed that there's a lot of wasted money floatin' around the center , disguised as jobs -Employees there with some outstanding credentials -Probably half of it is hogwash -Assistants to the assistants , while the other assistants are out recruiting friends for more assistants -Workforce could probably be reduced by 50% and still have an operating center -The theater is used a lot more than most know -Still , getting to be a place for political hires to plan their retirements , promotions , and / or vacations -Needs tightning up -

Hopefully you are not one of my kids teachers. People with sense should be taking pictures of all socialist, communist, marxist protestors and get the black lists ready to boycott them when the Marxist gets voted out next year and being a socialist bum is no longer acceptable.

I have a Job work more than full time. Live in a small 3 bed one bath house, drive a truck I payed 4000 cash for 0 credit card debt married with 2 children. Work for a multi-billion dollar corporation as skilled labor. I still live one paycheck away from losing everything. Most Americans do that's the reality. These multi-billion dollar corporations pay less than unemployment and welfare. Do you think that's American? If so then your warped in the head...Not everyone just ask for hand outs there is a lot of working people just seeking Fair wages and benefits.

Hal has been in office way too long. When you keep the same ol fart in office, then things will stay the same. Sure he may have done some good, but our tax money has made for him real good. There should be a time line in office for all these candidates. He is old news with a hefty retirement set up, He needs to GO!

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Taurus

Get involved in financial transactions at your peril under today's Lunar Eclipse, because certain people will use them as a stick to beat you with. For instance, if you ask someone to lend you money they'll either make you feel guilty about it or dredge up all sorts of past instances when their trust was betrayed. You would also be well advised to avoid any show of possessiveness or jealousy, even if you feel it, unless you truly don't care about the disastrous outcome.
