I agree!
A great deal of the polluting the bays is coming from the homeowners who are fertilizing their yards and the runoff is going into the water and killing everything. If you don't believe me, take a ride one Sunday afternoon to the waterfront areas and check out their nice green yards.

One side of your mouth = Stop developing the waterfront
Another side of your mouth = REBUILD the DEEP CREEK PIER!
You are so full of BS!
I've heard the same words spoken about the pier at Deep Creek and the JMR Marina and now the WYC. Our pier was destroyed for non-maintenance of the city and should not have been destroyed. If the WYC is indeed polluting the creek, the law should apply to them to make them stop. Lots of money and politics here in this little harbor. Money shouldn't mean they are above the law. I don't see any reason to tear their marina down but I do think that they shouldn't be above the law if they are breaking it. When money becomes just a piece of paper wih no value, honor and integrity will come back.

If someone doesn't believe you, what would be accomplished for them to look at some nice green lawns?

Your problem is you have nothing to do but sit all day waiting for business that does not show up. You are going broke and we know it!

Looking at the larger scope of things, the oceans could be the biggest source of pollution to our bays and rivers, along with what we already know that is happening in the bays and rivers that the state has control over. Anybody ever checked the pollution status of the oceans?

If we pollute our bays and rivers, that water has got to go out with the tide into the oceans and then it comes back in.
