The Coney Island beach is great.....but why let people bring FOOD and drink on the beach....they leave their food waste everywhere...if there was a no food rule on the beach not only would it reduce the cost of keeping the beach clean, it would make the beach clean all day long.....

It would also reduce the amount of people. The majority of people there eat and drink on the beach. Especially when you bring kids. I think a better solution would be to add more recycle bins on the beach.

Poor example of being sarcastic.

Several people have gone missing due to the water current and under toe. This article is about the horrible conditions of the beaches back in the day and how they look now.

What, did you just read the title and maybe the first paragraph?
