I am curious about all these poll numbers. There was a thread on here about Obama having a 10-12 point lead, a poll just the other day with him having a 6 point lead--and now McCain has a 6 point lead! What gives? I can only HOPE that with these latest numbers that the media will not shuffle them under the carpet b/c of their awe of the Illinois senator. Gee, they must be easily impressed...Anyway, it will all be over in less than three months, thank goodness! Oh, for the pre-Internet days of without the non-stop speculation!

Polls this year are inherently inaccurate because only those people with landlines get reached. Most of Obama's supporters are young people who use cellphones or people who hold two jobs to get by.

I wonder why McCain can't close the deal?

It's about time we all woke up and see Osama err....Obama for what he is. I am glad he is not in the lead anymore
I see him as a man of integrity. He is straightforward, an excellent candate for promoting change - changing up the old politics that have brought us into a mess today. A fresh candidate who brilliant and new, willing to help all mankind pursue a better life. Not a candidate who with puppeteering strings. A man with reasonable ideas that can uplift the nation. A very hard working young man who has achieved greatness. He has walked the walk, that's why he talks the talk. All he is saying is that every man needs a chance.

I feel that the bulk of our nation is stymied by only the privileged few.
