No, that is what it is about. If not that, then what? Whether Jackson Browne is a good musician or not? McCain's camp used the song without Browne's permission. They didn't get permission and pay for it. He wants them to stop.
And actually, yes, anytime you use music commercially, you are supposed to pay for it.
the key word is "supposed". i wonder, did bill clinton pay fleetwood mac?

Well I guess to sue is easier than hitting the road. Perhaps he is finacially "running on empty".

I don't know. I would assume that since Fleetwood Mac didn't contend the issue, they were OK with it.

Again, this isn't a Democrat vs Republican issue. It has to do with the right to use an artist's music. Why does everyone want to make it one?

Ok, now you aren't making any sense at all. You've regressed to grade school name calling.

Putting Clinton on the ticket only ensures higher voter turnout for the republicans!

What matters is that he chooses the best PERSON for the job; NOT that he "APPEASES" Billary supporters!!!

Obama choose Clinton? That would be Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity's absolute dream ticket!

Do you notice how nice the "republican stratigists" are when talking about Clinton? They love her; there's nothing that would make them happier; because that would actually generate a glimmer of "excitement" for the republican base.

A Clinton on Obama's ticket will only bring more republicans to the polls! Simply to vote against a Clinton!!!! Nothing fires-up the republican base like the name CLINTON!!

What the heck kind of car do you drive Bob? More than $75K? Geez, maybe I should be a Republican so I can afford one! The average new car purchased today costs half that.

everyone hasn't. i disagree with his politics, but like his music, nothing can change that. if my namecalling was"obam the sham", it fits him well. he's a poser. pretty mild terms.

Well, I guess if the only way you can make your case is to stoop to playground antics, then I guess that's what you'll have to do.

Obamarama, the most hypocritical,phony,two faced,dishonest, lying,predjudiced,bigoted, pandering,poser of a
candidate this country has ever seen.
1.lies about the hateful church he belonged to and exposed his young children to.
2.has the audacity to write a book referring to his POS father.
3. has no moral compass whatsoever, merely panders to his audience.
4. will throw anyone he doesn't need anymore under the bus.
5. fooled the far left in his campaign to defeat Hillary to win the nomination.
6. Now moves to the center as he knows he can't be elected with his real platform,
if he even has one, which is doubtful.
7. Denigrates americans and praises europeans before a hispanic audience, telling them
they don't need to learn english, we need to teach our children spanish.
8. says these idiotic things and he's not bilingual himself.
9. Without his teleprompter, constantly puts his foot in his mouth.
10. Has flip flopped on numerous issues, including:
NAFTA
Talking to enemies like Iran
Public financing
Withdrawing the troops from Iraq.
Whether Iran is a danger
whether jerusalem should be divided
11. he's anti gun and after the recent supreme court ruling, he's claiming he's pro second amendment,
a flat out lie.
12. He says he supports the death penalty[even for child rapists] and his record is exactly the opposite.

The man is a the epitomy of a demagogue, his words are absolutely meaningless, he will say
or do anything, he has no concrete plans, he speaks in vague platitudes and his ONLY claim to anything is that
he's not George Bush. He is an absolute and total fraud and anyone who doesn't see it is in denial.
When he's on tv or the radio now I have to mute it as the man makes me sick. If this man is elected, we will all rue the day
and it won't take long to realize our mistake.

Fleetwood Mac doesn't own their own music. It's owned by the record company that produced and recorded it.
