The turnip here either had another brain fart or is spouting lies as usual. The 2008 election showed Obama not only hidding his donations from debit/credit cards, but their names and country of Origin. He has so far refused to do so again this election.

This, like so much that is reported as " news," is actually a continuation of past precedent. If we look back, were not Teddy and FDR Roosevelt of the monies class? There is a story, true or not, that JFK complained to his father that his 1960 win over Nixon was a squeaker. Old Joe said words to the effect that he bought him the election but did not promise a landslide. Was. Not Reagan a wealthy man? Were not the Bush family an old, wealthy and politically active family? John Kerry was within a hair's breadth of the presidency and had cheerfully enhanced his wealth by marrying the Heinz fortune.

Bringing up the subject of donors and contributors is irrelevant at this point. Only the very wealthy or those promoted by the very wealthy can aspire to national office as a rule and those who are not are beholden to their wealthy supporters. We have heard many complaints about George Soros with some claiming that Obama may have the title but he is the de factor president. Objections were raised about Herman Cain's alleged support from the Koch brothers.If we had access to a complete list of major donors from either side, we could project with reasonable assurance in what direction we as a nation are headed.
