I could care less about who Toby Keith is voting for and him voting for Obama won't make me like or dislike his songs. There are a few other country celebrities that support Obama also, e.g. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, so I don't think he is hurting his career by saying who he's supporting.

I'm not against Obama because of his race. That's a stupid reason to vote for or against someone. I disagree with a lot of things that Obama says, his views on the military, wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the economy, health care, and many more. All these things have nothing to do with his race. Obama being black isn't going to solve the problems in the black communities and isn't going to place whites at the back of the bus.

The first duty of the office is to protect this country and the Constitution - Obama won't do it - he spent 20 years with a minister (but he didn't hear it) who spewed hatred for this country - read Obama's book and you will see where his loyalties are. I touched on only one issue - infanticide, which he supports. I am not a racist - I don't care if he is purple - he cannot lead this country to a better place. And, you don't need to question whether I think McCain can - he certainly has a better backbone. That doesn't mean I like either one - sometimes you have to take the best of the lot.
