Democrats are making increasingly explicit threats about their willingness to let nearly $600 billion worth of tax hikes and spending cuts take effect in January unless Republicans drop their opposition to higher taxes for the nation's wealthiest households.

Judged: 5 3 3 Posted on Saturday Jul 14th at 8:27am Poor Sean Hannity! Despite having stacked his focus group with almost all conservatives, when he asked whether or not President Obama will be re-elected, most of them voted “yes.” It’s worth noting that Hannity did not seem surprised. It's also worth noting that Republican veteran Ed Rollins (middle row on the right end) could not seem to bring himself to vote Romney as the likely winner in November. Rollins started to raise his hand and then dropped it. Rollins did not vote for Obama, either. |

Judged: 3 3 3 By November here is what the American people will remember after the G-roup O-f P-olitical T-erroristic E-uropean A-merican birthers took over the house. 1) They shifted focus from jobs and the economy to defending DOMA, looking for birth certificates, and whining about teleprompters. 2) They almost pushed us into a government shutdown. 3) They pushed us into a credit downgrade. 4) They fought to kill medicare and medicaid. 5) They held our payroll tax cuts hostage for a pipeline. 6) The Republican Death Panel are fighting hard to take away healthcare for the working middle class. 7) But they sure fought vehemently for those top 1% wealthy people. All at the expense of the economy and the middle and working class. The people who will be most hurt by GOPTEA obstructionism are the working middle class. The rich 1% would hardly notice a dent. Which is why Rich Money and Boehnor could care less. It's time to fire Speaker Downgrade Boehner and the RINO he rode in on! |

Judged: 3 2 2 Very true. The democrats under obama/pelosi/reid raised spending, time to raise taxes so spending can continue. As it stands, there are more Solyndras than money. |
|
Judged: 3 3 3 Not just the democrats. But the RINOs as well under the Bush years. The trillions of debt for Iraq and their bridges to nowhere have gone unpaid for too long and racking up interest. And now we are incurring costs post-Iraq to provide our veterans the level of care that they deserve. It's time for the Bush GOP tax cuts to expire for everyone. Only once the debt is paid down should we consider tax cuts again. |

Judged: 3 3 2 What the republicans really did! They tried to de-fund Obamacare - the biggest job killer there ever is. They fought the democrats to include fiscal responsibility in any new spending plans. The democrats - not wanting to give up any of their precious programs stopped the republicans from passing any spending cuts, thus creating the showdown over the debt limit. They did not fight to KILL medicare/Medicaid (that's a demo-speak talking point) They actually tried to make it fiscally sound. Most Republicans are normal everyday folk - not the top 1%(there's a lot of democrats in that bunch - The Republicans want the democrats to stop picking the pockets of those top 1% and giving it away to their voting base! You know - the ones who work for ACORN (renamed) Over half of the 1% as you say, moron. Are democrat supporters. Go after their money and then we'll talk. Are you always so stupid or is today a special occasion? |

Judged: 3 3 3 Bush did more for the vets than clinton and nobama put together. What has Obama done for the military except one who bows to foreign muslim leaders, did not hold a vigil for the victims at Fort Hood, shakes hands with his military escort and was the first president not to attend the Army Navy Game...his 'support of the vets' smacks of votes buying to me. I'm not fooled by the man's motives. He could care less for the military or their plight. He just wants to protect votes. Nicholson had a rough road in the job, as he headed the department when it faced a budget crisis, a growing backlog of disability claims, long waits for medical appointments and the threat of identity loss for hundreds of thousands of veterans because of lost, stolen and misplaced personnel files. Nicholson said for all the problems, veterans — especially combat veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan — ended up seeing improved services during the Bush administration because VA budgets more than doubled and dramatic improvements were made in medical programs, such as the screening of every combat veteran who entered VA’s doors for post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injuries. Jim Nicholson, former Secretary of Veteran Affiars. You're busted again, fruit loops. |

Judged: 2 2 2 Attention you sandusky skid mark!!! You bozo are so full of sht your posts reek...Your blame game just does not hold water, peewee. Furthermore you deranged bag of libelous manure, you are the last one who needs to be taking it upon your treasonous self to speak on the behalf of veterans. No one who is genuinely concerned for vets speaks ill of their mission and then speaks concern for their behalf. You speak with forked tongue…paleface. |

Judged: 3 3 3 Then why doesn't nobama quit extending them as you've been asked by many? He must think they're important! LMAO More tax cuts will expand businesses. Higher taxes will chase them off and shut them down. Example: California! You loon! |

Judged: 2 2 2 What a dilemma for team Obama. Keep Joe the Dopiest Guy on the Planet, or bring on Hillary Clinton, knowing odd things happen to folks who get in the way of the Hill. I'm sure she and Bill have calculated how much damage BHO could do in four years and kill any chance of her being elected in 2016, but as the VP who has to assume the throne because of some unforeseen act. Well, that might be a different story. |
