Telling hokey, cut and paste, old stories does not a President make. I want the facts and the position on issues and the forward thinking of how a candidate will make this country better. I am not interested in hokey stories about the past. Perhaps the "past" and "future" should be the new slogans for each candidate.

The proof is that this article hasn't brought about any responses. Bravo McCain!

I thought McCain was outstanding on all issues. While Obama may as well have been running for Mayor of London, he said so little about America. Or perhaps it's that Obama knows so little.

It seemed to me that Obama was discussing nuance, and speaking from the heart. McCain did an admirable job, to be sure, but all of his responses sounded pre-meditated and canned. Just like they drew 'em up beforehand. I particularly liked how when they asked for who he admires most, he immediately and without thinking shot out with Petraeus (bolstering his claims on the "surge"), a black civil rights leader, and a woman. McCain is a good guy, but does ANYBODY believe that wasn't a premeditated and canned response? I'll take a real thinker, any day.

McCain's answers seemed very well rehearsed. We now know that he was in no "cone of silence" while Obama was speaking, but was late, and still in the motorcade. McCain's people deny that any of them were listening in on Obama's questions.

He has discused them at many townhalls too. Obama thinks to long and hard to be sincere. It is like he is thinking of who he may upset with his answers so he needs to search for the correct wording. McCain just spoke from the heart and how he really plans to react to these issues.

What else should we expect from the left. BoHo McCain cheated. I remember Obama telling the host that he sort of cheated on one of questions. Nobody though asked him to elaberate. You don't here the McCain team BOOHO'en about it. Grow Up!

McCain did a fine job, as I said. But her post is correct. Remember these guys are politicians-- do you REALLY think his handlers weren't listening in?? I would never believe BO's weren't, were the positions reversed.

That's funny. Because McCain was pro-choice before he ran for President. And he held that position a lot longer than his current one. "Speaking from the heart" is never glib or quick or polished. That's why, whoever you think 'won' this debate, you'd be very hard-pressed to convince ANYONE that McCain's comments were the more spontaneous of the two.

McCain is a good guy, but does ANYBODY believe that wasn't a premeditated and canned response? I'll take a real thinker, any day. It appears the old nut told another lie yesterday with his bogus POW tale. Specifically; World-famous Russian author Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn was sent to a Siberian prison because he criticized communism. Languishing there under intolerable conditions year after year, he decided to end his life. But suicide, he firmly believed, would be against God's will. He thought it would be better for a guard to shoot him. So at a public assembly of the prisoners, he sat in a front row, planning to get up and walk toward an exit, compelling a guard to kill him. But to his surprise, another prisoner sat down, blocking his exit. That unknown man leaned over and, to Solzhenitsyn's astonishment, drew a cross on the dirt floor. The cross! Wondering if that fellow prisoner might be a messenger from God, Solzhenitsyn resolved to endure his imprisonment. There in prison he became a Christian and was eventually set free to bear witness to the world. Are you in the grip of difficult circumstances? Have you wondered if life is worth living? Focus your heart on the cross-it is the message of God's love, forgiveness, and saving grace for you. Invite the Christ of Calvary with His transforming power into your life. Discover for yourself that the Christ of the cross can change you. HAVE YOU HEARD THAT TALE BEFORE !! How can anyone trust this old liar. He could have at least been smart enough to come up with an original story.

When I was Kuwait on of the Thrid Country National, none spoke English, drew a cross in the dirt asking if I beleived. It is a common practice if you are ever in an oposing country.

I can't wait until people begin to see Obama as the inexperienced political opportunist that he is. My friends and I have created a video that lampoons his career, which we'll be posting to YouTube on the 23rd, but you can see a short promo for it at: http://www.youtube.com/watch...

Of course you can have a grandslam when you cheat. The "wrinkly-old white dude" knew what Barack Obamas answers were because he was put in a sound proof room and he walked out into the meeting hall and did not stay in the room. Once again proving that he like Bush think they are about the law and can make their own rules as they go. Hell, he couldn't follow the rules in school, the Naval Academy, in marriage and so why should it suprise the American people when he doesn't follow them now.

For the first time I'm starting to feel some optimism that we can beat the Obamabots. His response to the question of when life begins was pathetic.

My father in law is 72, about John McCains age and I can not tell you how much I have learned in just 2 years time. It is amazing the way things came to be in this country. They don't teach you the personal experiences and tell you these stories in school.

I was watching Fox news and they showed that after leaving L.A. he was a roommate with a college aquaintence in New York. The guy just happened to be a Pakastani who over stayed his visa and was here illegally. He was also a cocain dealer, and Obama knew it. Can any of you Obots who know so much about Obama confirm this? I am always stunned that people are willing to vote this guy in as POTUS, perhaps the most important job in the world. Gary Hart was unelectable due to getting some nookie on the side (like JFK & Clinton) and Clinton had to claim that he didn't inhale. Yet, Obama admits to years of drug and alcohol abuse, and living with an illegal who was a coke dealer. I just don't get it.
