I occasionally enjoy a cigar and recently had teh misfortune of smoking K2 with a friend. My body istantly became numb and heavy and my hallucenations began to scare me and even after a three hour nap I still felt the affects. I'm an older adult and knew after taking three puffs that the feeling wasn't right so it scares me to think of wreckless or experimenting youth might have access. My ability to drive, think logically and controll my body were all extremely compromised. After research, I learned that the amount of THC in K2 is ten times higher than marijuana so in reality; one rolled k2 cigarette equalls 10 rolled marijuana cigarette. The substance should indeed be banned-not to infrindge on adult' s rights but to prevent the loss of life.

You're probably right...besides, kids now and days have plenty of other household substances to abuse.

Cigarrettes kill a lot of smokers but not all. K2 is actually a poison, no different than arsenic.
I choose to smoke as it is my legal right to do so. I'll never understand this obsession with being so healthy. A drunk driver hits you head on, your house catches fire, a stray bullett, heat attack (related to all the chemicals in food)- we are ALL going to die, one way or the other, whether you smoked or not will not make a difference, will it?
Who said anything about being healthy...just because people choose not to smoke as it is their right to do so, doesn't mean they're healthy. Lots of people every year die from lung cancer and never smoked a day in their life. I smoked 2-3 packs a day for 17 plus years before I CHOOSE to quit almost 20 years ago...best thing I ever did and as a former smoker I can tell you that your lungs will return to normal just takes a long time. You are right by saying there are many different ways for a person to die...one just happens to be SECOND HAND SMOKE which is not my choice...and just for the record a person can get elevated levels of arsenic in their blood from eating large portions of ALMONDS...maybe we can get the DEA to outlaw them as well, but to answer your question if it will make a difference...YES IT DOES! IT'S called quality of life after we become Older and Wiser. Toting around a oxygen bottle is not what I would call a quality choice. But its your life live it anyway you choose. Just respect my choice as well.

Almonds (Bitter, non-domesticated) contain a precursor to CYANIDE, not arsenic (which builds up in your system).

I've been smoking K2 and K2 like products everyday, a few times a day for well over a year and a half. I've never had a bad effect from it. Nothing in my life has changed. I'm not in worse health then before. There is nothing wrong with this stuff.
I do not deem it fair for the law to passed to outlaw this substance. Because people are not using it the way it is directed? On the package it is stated "Not for human consumption." If everything that people didn't use the correct way, we wouldn't have much of anything on the market.
Since this stuff will become illegal, people that have smoked K2 and K2 like products will just turn back to marijuana since it is a FAR less punishment compared to the potentials of the felonies for possession, production, sale, and use of K2 and K2 like products.
By the way, nice proof-reading. Real professionalism journalism, do some real investigating about what you're reporting and not just what people say that know nothing about the subject.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Pisces

Relationships are kind of shaky under this Lunar Cycle and you may even get the distinct impression you're heading for a major showdown with a certain someone. Although this feels like a crisis, don't let panic or desperation push you into decisions you would normally steer clear of. You may think you've reached the end of the road, but this isn't a good reason to go off the deep end and make drastic decisions. Proceed with caution!
