Shelled out over 600 dollars for the vaccine because I was 28, decided it was worth it because I had very few partners and had always had normal paps and HPV negative. The fear of cervical cancer and the "preventative" action I could take seemed like a natural conclusion.
Now I am high risk HPV positive for a strain "covered" by the vaccine and on my 2nd round of colposcopies. I will not vaccinate my children- and I am a nurse. I am a nurse that has always believed in vaccines and promoted vaccinating everyone for almost anything.
I believe this vaccines was rushed to market so that the drug company could make a ton of money.

My concerns: It only has a 5 year proven window of effectiveness the 10 deaths have not been definitely linked to the shot, but has the Gardasil shot been definitely ruled out as the cause.
