Seriously! Giving them to retailers would have been the best distribution method. Instead of waiting at random clinics for 3 hours, let us go to our local Walmart and pay for them. Wow, this is government run amok!

Be careful because if Walmart is selling them they might be made in China and contain melamine and lead.

So explain to me why the " state as of today ,has not ordered vaccine"
What about the rest of us that aren't pregnant , or 12 or 88 yrs old that want it ? They just gonna let it spread through the working population and see how many of us can get sick ? Something doesn't smell right. Ill bet the Governor has his shot.

There is NO provision for anyone over 64 yrs. old getting this vaccine, much less 88 yrs. old. Even if you have a chronic condition, it appears if you are over 64 yrs. old you are NOT going to get this vaccine. At least there is none mentioned in this article or any other announcement of innoculations. Funny how every other flu in history has been most dangerous for the elderly and this one is not.

The reason that the state had not intentionally ordered vaccine for retailers is so that local health departments, hospitals, clinics, and physicians could get them first.

Either WalMart got them from another source, like a local health department, or they pretended to be a physician's office.

Old folks always act so entitled! You already get crazy discounts with your Golden Buckeye Card, what else do you want? Yeah, we get it you're old. Why not let the children have a chance to live. Also, slow down, I see you speeding in my neighborhood. Trying to see how many kids you can knock down on their way to school???????

....and so what?! If I can pay $15 for the H1N1 shot, I'm entitled to it! I'm 61 and have congestive heart failure. I do not want to leave my daughter and four grandchildren because the state or federal government decides who can have a shot and who can't. I'm not ready to bite the dust yet and am sick and tired of hearing about the targeted groups getting these shots. I want mine and I'm willing to pay for it -- so what?!

And to you: SENSITIVETOSMELL - I hope in your older years you remember the crude, rude remark you made about older people. You are a disgusting excuse of humanity and obviously don't have any older people in your life you care about!

What's the chance of a "plan" --get your H1N1 shot at Walmart and become addicted to Fox News and nutcase Glenn Beck? They (Fox) preach profit over people so this combination is made in heaven (or hell). The drug companies cannot afford to allow health reform. What if the shot is "doctored" to become a care less for your fellow citizens. Can we be induced to take a needle that poisons our thinking? Don't be quick to discount this idea.

People care more about who wins american idol than they do about what they shoot into theirs or their childrens bodies. Educate before you vaccinate look up whats in those shots and they're effects on the body. For once please use your minds for something that may save your life

If they are charging people $15 for a shot, are they reimbursing the federal government for these shots? Doesn't sound fair that they would get FREE shots and then turn around and charge people for it? Good old Walmart, do anything (and lie) to make a buck.

Jim, giving to retailers have worked great huh? They are charging $15 bucks for the shot. Health Departments are giving them for free. Sure, the first day maybe a 3 hour wait, but, sounds like Columbus had their act together. A lot of comments I have read, it took people an hour to get in and out. That includes the 30 minute wait they like people to stick around to make sure no side effects.

Google h1n1 and you will get all your information andsowhat. To keep it short, your immune system have built up antibodies, children have not.

My wife and I waited in line in the freezing cold for 3 hours with hundreds of other people and now this...

I'd really like to see some sort of state/fedaral approval of the "vaccinations" Walmart is selling. If they're legit then more power to Walmart, and it's probably worth the $15 not to go through what we did.
