I saw this crap on Bossip and I know that they are probably just lying to make bw look like we are walking stds. It like they want to convince the world that black women are the worst of everything.

I find these stats hard to believe. This is a lot of people to have the STD that keeps on giving.

I agree with you.
But you really see more white women on the commericals,because they know who they really tested. I have never seen a black woman on a herpes or cold sore commerical as much as you seen white.

donations are tax dectible and will give the quality of life back to anyone who is affected both directly and indirectly. anyone can be affected and there is no telling who has the infection. fingers crossed for Bloom, could be one of the greatest discoveries!!!

I question those stats because I knew a whole lot of people that were burning at one point but only a handful that had herpes. Gonorrea, clamydia even trich but not many herpes or syphlis. Not too many crabs either not saying I was counting but I remember the most common stds for people I came across and those were not. I've even heard of more people having hpv than herpes these days and even in the recent past.

Dang... if this is true then its just more reason for black men to keep taking advantage of stupid white girls. Furthermore, If 39ehonor is right about his statistics then white males are just going to have to bite the bullet and starting getting the herp. am almost 30 and one new years ever in a local e.r. of a hospital a doctor told me that i had cold sores caused by the herpes simplex virus. it was the worst thing i had ever heard in my adult life. moreso than my parents announcing they were getting divorced. i thought of myself as a healthy, attractive, somewhat successful young man and now i see myself as a tainted ugly guy who doesnt want to have sex, kiss or be intimate with anyone and i have a live in girlfriend who knows i have herpes... im pretty sure she has it as well at this point but she hasnt had the terrible outbreak that i have had... i was at a party one night on christmas eve and ended up kissing some girl... she didnt have any signs of an outbreak but one week later i had what resembled ingrown hairs on my chin and neck area, thought i would shave and a few days later i had what looked like a nuclear reaction on my face... went to the locat health dept they referred me to diversity clinic which was close so i went to the e.r because i had to know... sure nuf it was herpes and the doc prescribed me acyclovir to somewhat ease my mind i reckon... now everyday is a battle somewhat... i have dry, ashy skin at times and i have these little bumps on my elbows that wasnt there ever before i had herpes... i dont want to even think of having sex because the thought of infecting someone else is too much to deal with...my face itches at times... ive had a spot on my equipment that comes and goes at times... i have to wrap up if i wanna have sex with my girlfriend that ive been with for 4-5 years now... i swear the worst part is knowing that u can give someone else this horrible disease even when ur not really suffering from it persay... it sucks... ive had it for close to seven months now and what ive heard it gets better with time... the only way it could get better is by going away... i am coping with it, it is depressing and even people who have it dont want to admit they have it so it is hard to find a support group or what not... i guess the best thing u can do is be strong... u r still a person... and the human will is enough to keep u going... no one deserves herpes or any other std, not even those perves out there... i feel ur pain and im goin through this with the rest of u out there... keep ur head up even when u have those sores on ur face... it gets better... i love u and peace out...

I find a good review source about Acyclovir (Zovirax)- http://acyclovirs.org There is a full description and information on dosage, side effects, etc. at that site. I hope, it will really help somebody.
