Holder should be reminded about John Mitchell, the Attorney General under Nixon. He was sentenced to 8 years in prison for perjury and obstruction of justice for his actions in trying to coverup Watergate. Holder should be in prison for the rest of his life for his part in this murder. Yes, and how do you think the men in Phoenix feel selling these guns thinking they were doing the right thing to find out later that what they did resulted in the death of 300 dead innocent Mexicans?

I am so disappointed in President Obama, his Attorney General, and all those involved.
Seems like all they care about is not getting blamed for the terrible mistake.
President Obama promised accountability in his campaign and that's why we voted for him, it seems as though he will end up being the exact opposite, the most unaccountable President.

I believe after getting the correct facts, that how much coordination and knowledge Eric Holder received from the Director of ATF should be the main reason for his being fired or continuing on. Was Holder aware of the lack of ATF personel to mount this kind of operation or was he only partially made aware of the dangers? There have been over 300 innocent Mexicans people killed by this fiasco so far and the American gun sellers are dealing with alot of guilt issues as we speak. They thought they were doing crime prevention to find out afterwards that because of their cooperation with ATF they feel alot of personal responsibility for the deaths of innocent people.

Sad I have been following terrible story since it first broke and I try and post all new articles I find on it. I find your feelings as a Obama supporter typical. He did not really follow through on much of what he said he would do. I have many friends who are Democrats and I do not know one who will vote for him again. Most will not support a Republican but will just stay home on election day. I am a independent with conservative leanings, I knew this President would be bad news. Hillary should have been nominated and elected. Our primary process failed to eliminate Obama, a inexperienced ideologue. We are paying for that now. Hang around and post more, I would like to hear more of a younger persons opinions on here.

This is not the first operation of this kind, the last one like it was during the last presidential administration. Did Eric Holder know of this operation? I don't know, the news channel reporting on this is full of innuendoes and short on facts. I'll wait and make my judgement based on facts, not talking points. News commentary shows, OReilly, Maddow, Hannity, etc. are opinion shows, not hard news. One should not base his/her on voting decisions based on news commentary. The real shocker is how many people don't know the difference.

None of these are reporting opinions but facts. This story we are commenting on states that the Obama administration sealed the records of this agent. Is that an opinion? Yes, it is shocking that some "don't know the difference"
