Obama Admin Seals Records of Murdered Border Patrol Agent Implicated in Fast and Furious

Full story: www.weeklystandard.com

This means information will now be kept from the public as well as the media. Could this be a cover-up on the part of the “most transparent” administration in history?

Nothing this administration has done, is doing, is transparent.
Obama is the most lying, hypocritical President this nation has had in modern times.
He never owns up to anything, its always someone else fault or like this case, its covered up.
Where is our media? Where are the investigative reporters? THIS IS THEIR JOB to expose this kind of BS whether it be from the LEFT or right.

Shame on you Obama but bigger shame on our so-called media for letting you get away with this.

Documents obtained by CBS News show that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) discussed using their covert operation "Fast and Furious" to argue for controversial new rules about gun sales.
That was the deal all along.
CBS NEWS wrote:
In Fast and Furious, ATF secretly encouraged gun dealers to sell to suspected traffickers for Mexican drug cartels to go after the "big fish." But ATF whistleblowers told CBS News and Congress it was a dangerous practice called "gunwalking," and it put thousands of weapons on the street. Many were used in violent crimes in Mexico. Two were found at the murder scene of a U.S. Border Patrol agent.
Such a shame really to have this corrupt of a Federal Government. They could do so much good if they really were working for U.S. instead of working in anticipation of legally subjugating U.S.

I suggest reading and quoting the rest of this before it is scrubbed. More people should understand what this was all about, just another end run around of our God given rights.

Chicago is full of Bulls,...

In the aftermath of the Bulls riot of 1992, which started as a celebration of a basketball victory but turned into a night of looting and rioting in Chicago's black ghettos, local and national newspapers asked : was it just a celebration ? Was it an expression of pent-up anger and frustration ? Had Korean and Arab merchants been targeted ? The sociological literature on riots contains a great deal of analysis of city level data, but few micro level studies that analyze who are the victims and perpetrators of the violence and destruction associated with riots. The author argues in this paper that the Bulls riot of 1992 was political as well as celebratory, responding in part to massive welfare cuts in Illinois and to the televized drama of the Los Angeles riot of 1992. A store by store analysis of ghetto merchants reveals that despite the political undertones, the extensive nature of the riot, and a history of organized boycotts against Korean stores, there was no targeting of merchants based on race or ethnicity.

Once again as an independent this seems to be some very serious stuff that the Justice Department has done. I'm still somewhat confused about the details but do believe this should be urgently investigated and if what I read is true than Eric Holder should be held accountable.

The RIDE ON BIKES cartoon logo is ugly. The RIDE ON BIKES TV commericial is so stale and obnoxious. That guy's voice trying to sound all smart. He is one of those I THINK I KNOW SOMETHING individuals who know nothing. I give RIDE ON BIKES another few months or year or two before they go out of business. The TV commercial is obnoxious and super stale and the cartoon logo is pathetic and very ugly non appealing. No wonder they are located in UPTOWN. Why is it that UPTOWN draws so many of the same caliber. WANNABE HIPSTERS. LAME. STALE. LAME. STALE. LAME. STALE. LAME. STALE. Just say this in your mind as you walk and look around UPTOWN if you ever have the misfortune to have to walk through there. LAME. STALE. LAME. STALE!

Hey folks meanwhile back on the subject, the truth is that the gun dealers who sold the weapons to the Mexican Cartels under the watch and authority of the ATF placed tracking devices inside those weapons which were not properly monitored by the ATF. So when they got into Mexico they were not properly followed by the ATF. So the blame should be placed on the ATF Director.

Yes, said but true when you plan this type of operation you should have the personnel to be able to track these weapons and find out where they are going so you can find the bad guys. Okie has it correct.

When you provide automatic weapons to criminals, you have to know that there are going to be bodies piling up, along with increased public fear and panic. This is exactly what the BHO administration wanted. If they could scare the public bad enough, people would be more likely to allow the government to eliminate second amendment rights.

If it had not been for the death of this agent, and the courage of the whistleblowers, they would have succeeded. Now, like cats in a sandbox, they are trying to coverup their mess.

Holder should be reminded about John Mitchell, the Attorney General under Nixon. He was sentenced to 8 years in prison for perjury and obstruction of justice for his actions in trying to coverup Watergate. Holder should be in prison for the rest of his life for his part in this murder.

No sorry man but I have a good long-time friend in Phoenix who got caught up in this mess and regrets it everyday. The ATF bought guns from him which were placed hidden inside GPS devices. The ATF did'nt have the manpower to monitor all these guns once they got into Mexico they were to be tracked to the Cartels. Comprende Senor?

The whole idea behind this thing was to create a huge batch of cases of Mexican Cartels buying weapons in the U.S. in order to fuel the next attempt at narrowing our second amendment.

They really didn't give a damn that their shitty little op went to pot as there was no formal apology to the family of the murdered border agent until the subpoenas began to fly.

Semi-automatic long guns of the so called assault variety were to be the intended victim. Any thing other than that would just be considered collateral cannon fodder.

Shame.
