two cents from a yank who lived down under for two years: we are pretty damned similar, aussies and americans. work hard, play hard. don't put up with too much nonsense. aussies were truly hospitable to me, a poor traveling bum! the young aussies i met dislike america on principle ('cus it was cool). the older aussies respect yanks because they fought together against japan and germany. i think the aussies who travel over here realize we aren't that terrible. after the bali bomb, i think more aussies realize we are in a war together again. anyway, my two cents...

That kind of music does nothing for the soul....For me to like music its gotta have soul,its got to have meaning and more importantly the person singing it has to "feel" the song and mean what they are singing. Sorry mate but that was just pure crap but we are all different and what is crap for me is enjoyable for you and you know what ? That's what makes us all unique.Man it would be a boring old world if we were all the same wouldn't it?

If Howard had not anchored himself so firmly to Bush, perhaps Australians would not be such targets for the terrorists. And I do mean blamew the alliance, not the people.
