Tropical Storm Cristobal forms off the Southeast coast

A Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect from South Santee River, South Carolina to the North Carolina/Virginia border including the Pamlico Sound.

Everybody in North Carolina needs to light a candle in church asking Jesse Helms to keep the storm from making havoc for his constituants.

Cristobal isn't a very strong storm and we need the rain. It's the drought that's bad, not this minor storm. I wish it was moving inland instead of skirting the coast. We did get some rain from it so far.

Great, more of my tax dollars wasted on idiots living in hurricane prone areas. Maybe they can truck in some more sand to replenish the beaches and have it washed out to sea again....
