The office of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel has won his push to install speed cameras but won't fully disclose documents detailing how the law moved from idea to reality.

Judged: 1 1 1 I don't want to see another terrorist attack but what Emanuel is doing is not protection of American citizens it is harrassment. |
|
Judged: 1 Still here even after complete Dem control and much more powerful. The president definitely loves it. |

Judged: 2 1 1 In the Washington Times it was reported by 2015 the US will have drones flying in US to keep a eye on citizens. Obama care requires all citizen to have a national ID or a chip in plant to receive health care. Figure out what is happening. I think we read this is a book that was written centuries ago |

It's not that either, it's a source of revenue for both chicago and the private company who provides the cameras and monitors them. I would bet dollars to donuts that this private company has a connection to the Emanual administration. It's not about saftey for anyone, it's about profit. In Florida, we have found it is nothing but a revenue stream for private companies and governments. Peopleare fighting back and the red light cameras are starting to come down. |

One of the many decisions about Obama I disagree with. |
|
There is vwey little conversation on this issue and after the election will get worse. Dem or Repub makes no difference. |
|
All they need is a reason. If there is a security breach, look for these programs to expand like an athlete on steroids. |

Judged: 1 Yes, and don't forget BO's signing of the NDAA also. Yes indeed your hope and change mac daddy did the exact opposite of what he promised you drones. He renewed the Patriot act gave more powers to DHS and is putting 30,000 remote drones in the air to spy on all of us. Best of all you will vote for him again. Now that is real stupidity. |
|
Obama said he would repeal the Patriot Act during his first campaign. The only thing he did was change the name of it so his stupid supporters wouldn't catch on. |

These bureaucrats have no shame for the extortion they are creating against the citizen of the USA

Judged: 3 3 2 Most uniformed asinine statement concerning politics: "Dem or Repub makes no difference." Does anyone believe that if the winner of the 2000 popular vote had been inaugurated the country would have: Destroyed the surpluses were project as far as the eye could see? Downgraded the of the terrorist experts and demoted the terrorist experts? Disregarded the warnings the CIA ....especially the one entitled "Bin Laden Determined To Strike in US" or Illegally and immorally invaded Iraq? Given $100's of BILLIONS to Big Pharma? Given massive tax breaks to the uber-rich? Appointed corporatists and CONSERVATIVE ACTIVISTS like Alito & Roberts to the Supreme Court? Unfortunately for the country, the popular vote winner wasn't inaugurated. Fortunately President Obama was elected to clean up the mess left by 30+ years of voodoo economics. |

Judged: 2 2 2 "Cheney has been on a thirty-year quest to implement his views of unfettered executive power. For example, when it was revealed in 2005 that the Bush administration had been illegally spying on Americans, Cheney responded:“If you want to understand why this program is legal…go back and read my Iran-Contra report.” In that report — authored in 1987 — Cheney and aide David Addington defended President Reagan by claiming it was “unconstitutional for Congress to pass laws intruding” on the “commander in chief.” Decades later, Bush’s legal team used their first meeting in January 2001 — nine months before 9/11 — to map out a plan to expand presidential authority. According to Savage, who appeared on C-SPAN’s Washington Journal this morning, Cheney was looking for a moment to “seize” power in the weeks before 9/11:.... Only a naive idiot would have taken his campaign slogan seriously. You seem to be one. Isn't that what the washington "outsider" politician is running on? "We intend to change washington not accommodate it"? The teabaggers ate that up. Yes, given the choice, voting for a teabagger or the current republican president, I'll stick with a republican. |
