Bottom line, McCain is running a lackluster campaign, true enough... But, he still managed to pull neck-and-neck in the polls. Come November, unless Obama has a 10 point or better lead, he's toast.

I think that Obama needs to pick and name a vice presidential candidate asap. I was not for Clinton in the primaries, but for this climate I think she would be an excellent VP candidate. She can very effectively go after and attack the republicans and the John McCain camp.

The press and Obamabot's prefer to call "Exposing the truth" an attack on "the man who would be king". After all, exposing the man behind the curtain isn't supposed to happen until after the election when it's too late to change your mind.

Words do make a difference! Character is important! these were the words of Sen. Obama early on in the campaign and aren't they coming back with teeth towards his own rear end! this is the obvious outcome of having such a long and drawn out campaign, the truth about the candidates will eventually come out. Either they themselves show the true candidate or the other side exposes the phoney candidate. Either way, hiding from the public the true person in all their phoney baloney political posturing, fake and self serving granduer is dishonest and in the long run, we American's don't like dishonest. Let Europe crown a King! American's elect a President!!

When the real Obama character is exposed it's conveniently called assasination and mud slinging by the democrat's. Oh the negativity of "truth in politic's".

more so to see the end of this seemingly never ending campaign.

The quality of our presidential candidates peaked in Eisenhower's day....it's been all downhill ever since.

The only reasons McBush stands a cold chacne in helll is because of three things:
1) Obama is black, and hard core bigots will never vote for people of color.
2) Barrack Hussein Obama is not a popular name right now.
3) NeoCons are playing on the fact that Obama's father was a Muslim.
Otherwise, McCain would be enjoying a single didgit approval rating.
Notice that nothing there suggests any positive things about McCain.
It could also be that Obama is very inexperienced serving only four years in the U.S. Senate and a few years in the Illinois State Senate prior to that. He also has one of the more liberal voting records in the U.S. Senate that does not represent the average American voter. Obama also comes across very naive and uninformed regarding foreign policy. And he is from the Chicago Political Machine that is not known for high ethics and honest elections. The November Election will be the first time Obama has ever faced serious Republican opposition. None of the above help him in an election where he will have to win soft Democrats, Independents and Soft Republicans to be victorious. But the election is still a long way off in political terms. Only time will tell.

Obama was injecting race into the campaign. In his dollar bill remarks on Wednesday in Missouri, Obama specificaaly named McCain. He had not done this before when making remarks similar to those. That is why McCain fought back forcefully and quickly. The Obama camapign backtracked because they knew they blundered. McCain saw what Obama did to "The First Black President" Bill Clinton and Hillary. He refuses to let Obama do it to him.
You are wrong - Obama never mentioned McCain. He said "they will say,.......Please research your facts before you spread more lies.

McCain has 10 times the experience and his ads are asking voters if Obama has the experience to lead.
These ads are disrespectful...they are not humorous...They are disrespectful because they compare Obama to some young, female entertainers that never use their brain. Obama uses his brain. He is very intelligent and very thoughtful. He also has been in the senate for the last 3 years and before that for several years he was in state government. If you want to say he doesn't have enough experience fine, but don't compare him to these entertainers who people view as not using their brains.

He's not running a lackluster campaign, he's running a typical republican campaign, nasty, full of innuendos, without once talking about issues. I have yet to hear Obama mention McCain by name, but that seems all McCain can remember to do. Pathetic old man, running an old campaign. He'll be caught big time in one of his lies, and then we'll see the last of him. Thank God.

The polls are even because no one is paying attention!!! I watch the news during the primary but I can’t stand to even turn it on at the moment because it is so trivial. Furthermore I hang up on all ... I repeat all surveys so I doubt that Polls outside of which party do you trust to run the government matter. We’ll see the true race after the conventions and first debate. If you think McCain has erased a nine point lead in a week I have some swamp land to sell you.

The number one indicator on this election is the number of McCain signs you see. I have yet to see a single sign (In central Indiana) and truly couldn't tell you what his signs look like. To make a comparison I have seen roughly 200 Obama signs in the same time and at least 50 W'04 signs. I also didn't see one in Illinois, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Tennessee, or Alabama on recent trips. This election will be about turnout and until McCain gets some excitement about his campaign he will lose. He will not win a campaign on attacking Obama because he doesn’t have a large enough base to take advantage of a drop in Obama’s popularity.

- Anyway Obama can counter punch on McCain at will if he is smart. First he needs to run an ad with Paris Hilton and Brittany Spears. In the ad he should say John McCain wants to keep a tax system that gives Paris Hilton a tax cut but not you. Who do you want looking out for your interests in the White House?

- The second ad should be 'The McCain family made $60 million this year when American companies were sold to overseas interests; did you do as well this year?' McCain is toast regardless of the polls and media trying to make this a horse race.

LOL ... they sure fooled you with that B-S.

Of course he was laying a "race card trap" ...in effect saying that any personal criticism of him was solely based on his race and not the fact that his ears to appear to be big, and not the fact that his name (a Muslim name) may sound "funny?" well it's not funny, but it is similar to the names of our Islamofacist enemies,

And clearly, his reference to his looking different than "those other presidents on the dollars" is not only presumptious, it is obvious that his skin color is different and that his hair style is different.

Oh, yes claiming that Bush and McCain are going to scare the people about Obama was his attempt to precondition the field for future claims of racism.

Obama is an empty suit -with regard to both his whiteness and his blackness!

To Republicans and intelligent Independents the only thing about Obama that is scary is his political agenda.. SOCIALISM!

How about "McCain's racism paying dividends at the poll" In the future they will wonder who stood in the way os such a significant moment in our history. Just as we would wonder who stood against slavery, MLK, and Jackie Robinson. These are the same kind of people who opposed slavery. At least then they admited they were racist instead of all this coded language.

Exactly. Despite the media trying to close ranks around their boy Obama, Americans see Obama for what he is -- an arrogant con man.

Oh, shucks, Mary. I guess you're right.

Let’s elect Obama, who will cover 15 million illegal immigrants with federally subsidized health insurance, dramatically driving up costs and forcing federal rationing of healthcare. As in the U.K. and Canada, you will not be permitted certain medical procedures if the bureaucrats decide you are not worth it.

Let’s elect Obama, who will legislate a 60 percent tax bracket for upper-income Americans, killing all initiative and innovation. He will raise the top bracket to 40 percent. He will apply FICA taxes to all income, not just that under $100,000 as at present. So add 40 percent plus FICA’s 12.5 percent plus Medicare’s 2 percent plus state and local taxes averaging, after deduction, at 5-6 percent, and you have a 60 percent bracket.

Let’s elect Obama, who will double the capital gains tax, saddling the 50 percent of Americans who own stock with dramatically higher taxes.

Let’s elect Obama, who will double the dividend tax, hitting elderly coupon-clippers now retired and depending on fixed incomes.

Let’s elect Obama. who wants Homeland Security operatives to be required to notify terror suspects that they are under investigation within seven days of starting the investigation.

Let’s elect Obama, who says that unless they can establish that there is “probable cause to believe that a certain individual is linked to a specific terrorist group,” Homeland Security cannot seize his documents and search his business. The current standard is only that the search be “relevant” to a terror investigation.

Let’s elect Obama, who does not oppose $5-per-gallon gasoline but only says that he wishes there had been a more “gradual adjustment” to the higher prices.

Let's elect Obama, with his whopping two years of federal experience, most of which he has simply spent posturing and campaigning for the presidency.

Let's elect Obama, whose foreign relations experience consists of….well….nothing.

Let’s elect Obama, whose senior campaign advisor is already meeting secretly with the Palestinian terrorist organization HAMAS.

Let’s elect Obama, who told a Portland, Ore., crowd that “tiny countries” like Iran don’t "pose a serious threat to us." But Iran is well on its way to developing nuclear weapons. The next day Obama had to reverse himself and declare he had "made it clear for years that the threat from Iran is grave."

Let’s elect Obama, who has maintained a close, 25-year relationship with Jeremiah Wright and the hateful Black Nationalist movement. Then Obama pretends he didn't know Wright is a bad guy.

Let’s elect Obama, who has a 17-year relationship with Chicago's preeminant slum lord and scum bag Antoni Rezko, who helps Obama buy his house. Then Obama pretends he didn't know Rezko is a bad guy.

Let’s elect Obama, who launches his state senate campaign with an event at the home of terrorist Bill Ayers, serves on a charity board with Ayers and gives speeches with Ayers. Then Obama pretends he barely knows the guy.

Let’s elect Obama, who promised us "change" in Illinois too, but has done nothing but cut deals to enrich himself and his wife while cashing our paychecks.

Let’s elect Obama, whose wife believes “America is a downright mean country" and that “It's easier to hold on to your own stereotypes and misconceptions, it makes you feel justified in your own ignorance...that's America."

Let's elect Obama, who is a product of the Daley Machine, one of the most vile and corrupt political organizations in the history of mankind.

And the list goes on and on.

Gee, what's not to like about Obama? Sure, he has experience, character and judgment to be the most powerful leader in the world during these especially challenging times. How tough can it be? LOL

Nobama. No way.

Bravo.

The ad could not have been more accurate.

Obama is black?

I had only noticed he and his wife are hard-left, anti-American, anti-capitalist Maxists who want to punish success, redistribute wealth, raise taxes and weaken national security in partnership with the same unrepetant terrorists, racists, felons and America-haters they have hung out with for the last 25 years.

This just teh beginning. McCain and the Repuiblican Party have tons of material they haven't even begun to use yet.

The horror show of the Obama candidacy is something the Dems swallowed hook, line and sinker. Now they have to go down in flames with it - again.

Might Obama win 15 states? Maybe, but not if people know what he really stands for.

Remember, Obama supports giving US Constitutional protections to captured enemy combatants not on our soil but opposes giving the same protections to live born American children.

That's gonna make the country sick of him running for President.

Typical lib venom. Why so upset??? I swear, you lib's are so ready to explode w/ any anti-GOP message you can. I have pleanty of lib friends (yes, we lib's and con's can get along) to prove my point. After a typical "exchange" of ides with any of them, which I very much enjoy, I usually have a smile on my face and they're usually red in the face from huffing and puffing and telling me how the world is about to end...
