THE MESSIAH IS LOSING HIS STEAM:

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has seen his lead in Massachusetts and across the nation slip precipitously over the past few months, especially with older, more experienced, voters.

In June, Obama was ahead of Republican candidate John McCain by 23 percentage points, but this summer, Obama has been virtually bleeding support in the Bay State. He now leads McCain by only 9 percentage points here.

Nationally, Obama's lead varies on an almost daily basis. In recent days, he has been tied with McCain, ahead by 3 points and ahead by 1 point.

The fluctuating numbers come on the heels of Obama's much-publicized Middle Eastern and European tour, during which he was treated as visiting royalty by most officials while he made the mistake of portraying a potential president as a monarchist. The trip did help Obama's lead, but it didn't last long, particularly once McCain began a weeklong attack on the Democrat's so-called celebrity status. The McCain campaign ran an advertisement comparing Obama to Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. It appears to have hit home with some voters.

But the roller-coaster numbers aren't due only to McCain's ads.

They are also directly related to Obama's roller-coaster positions on issues.

In recent weeks, Obama has changed his positions almost as often as he changes his designer suits.

He has switched his stance on oil drilling, suddenly deciding he would be open to limited proposals for offshore drilling. He recently declared he would be willing, after all, to tap the nation's Strategic Petroleum Reserves to lower the price of gasoline. And he has altered his position on withdrawing from Iraq, saying he will listen to advice from ground commanders.

Frankly, the Democratic candidate's flip-flops are starting to give voters whiplash. They can't snap their heads back and forth as quickly as Obama can change his stances on crucial issues. But voters' pain may prove to be Obama's loss, if recent polls are any gauge of public opinion.

It takes a lot more than a good campaign slogan and a smooth speaking style to win the presidency. Obama may well learn that lesson the hard way.

"Every nation that has been attacked by Al Qaeda has then elected a pro-terorist government.

Spain. Italy.

And now the USA."

That's exactly what I have said.

“Americans should vote Democrat,” said Jihad Jaara, a senior member of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terror group and the infamous leader of the 2002 siege of Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity.

“This is why American Muslims will support the Democrats, because it is time that the American people support those who want to take them out of this Iraqi mud.”

Senior terrorist leaders interviewed by WorldNetDaily say they hope that Democrats sweep into power because of the party's position on withdrawing from Iraq. A Democratic victory would prove to them Americans are tired, ensuring a victory for the worldwide Islamic resistance.

Unfortunately, terror leaders unanimously rejected nancy [pelosi]’s contention that American withdrawal would end the insurgency. Islamic Jihad's Saadi, laughing, stated,“there is no chance that the resistance will stop but would compel jihadists to continue fighting until America is destroyed.”

Jihad Jaara said an American withdrawal would “mark the beginning of the collapse of this tyrant empire (America).”

Obama's problems are not the result of McCain's "attack strategy." The more Americans find out about who Obama really is, the more his poll numbers will drop. Obama is in a race against time right now. He is hoping that people don't catch on to him before November; and those of us who love this country pray for the opposite.
Something seems to have gone terribly wrong with the DNC's puppet.
...or not.
If the DNC is telling him to act superior, uppity, arrogant, and presumptive, He's playing that part very well. For that matter, they may even be telling him to flip-flop everyday.
It's obvious that there is some very strange reverse psychology going on here concerning Barack.

Humor ? Take your pick at what best describes the humor of J. Sidney McCain :

1) A hospital bed.

2) An automotive salvage yard.

3) A popcorn fart.

You, friend, are the one who should research before commenting. His words were:

"Nobody really thinks that Bush or McCain have a real answer for the challenges we face, so what they're going to try to do is make you scared of me. You know, he's not patriotic enough. He's got a funny name. You know, he doesn't look like all those other presidents on those dollar bills, you know. He's risky."

I agree that Obama is acting rather strange lately. The degree to which he has flip-flopped is unprecedented. I think, however, it is a function of his contempt for the public, rather than any marching orders from the DNC. Obama is between a rock and a hard place right now. He knows he can't get elected as a radical, liberal Democrat, and yet that is what he has been his whole political career. So, he has to choose which path is the least damaging to him:(1) Changing his positions in an effort to fool the American electorate into thinking that he is a centrist (which he must do to get elected); or (2) Keep the same positions and lose the election in November. He has obviously chosen to abandon any of his positions which he believes will get in the way of his ambitions. Here is where the contempt for the public comes in. He knows, and it has been borne out on the blogs and elsewhere, that no matter what position he takes on any issue, his hard core followers will support him. In fact, it is almost comical the extent to which they will argue for one of his positions, and then when he changes that position, they argue just as strenuously for the new position. So, his gamble paid off; his followers have lost all objectivity, and blindly follow him through his many changing positions.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Taurus

Get involved in financial transactions at your peril under today's Lunar Eclipse, because certain people will use them as a stick to beat you with. For instance, if you ask someone to lend you money they'll either make you feel guilty about it or dredge up all sorts of past instances when their trust was betrayed. You would also be well advised to avoid any show of possessiveness or jealousy, even if you feel it, unless you truly don't care about the disastrous outcome.
