I am sure that is what it is: all that voting fraud. It is not that the majority of voters educated beyond the GED or 9th grade level find the Republican's divisive, bigoted, regressive, anti-worker, anti woman, pro-corporate welfare and wall street banker/looter, pro war, pro oil, anti environment, policies repugnant.
DO NOT BECOME A MORE INCLUSIVE PARTY, just blame all the dead people who are voting for the "libs".
close to a trillion dollars in corprate bailouts so far in this democrats presidency and you think you can actually say that and it won't be challenged?

Hahahahaha what a maroon.

My grandfather was a miner who traded his back, health, lungs to provide for his family, and so that his progeny could hopefully live a better life than him.

I know that is the life the Republicans want for all of us, to serve the corporate masters for peanuts and then die a painful, slow, debilitating death without health coverage, but it isn't one I am willing to accept.

$23 and hour?!?!?! Very tempting my friend! Do you think I could save enough up to pay for my cancer treatment and be worth all the pain and suffering?
"the 20-year study from the Washington-based National Cancer Institute took a closer look by tracking more than 12,000 workers in certain kinds of mines — facilities that mined for potash, lime and other non-metals.

They breathed varying levels of exhaust from diesel-powered equipment, levels higher than the general population encounters.

The most heavily exposed miners had three times the risk of death from lung cancer compared to workers with the lowest exposures, said the study released Friday by the Journal of the National Cancer Institute.

But even workers with lower exposures had a 50 per cent increased risk, wrote lead author Debra Silverman, an NCI epidemiologist."

I think I will pass on your generous and thoughtful offer, and just keep voting 84 times like all of us "libs" do. Las Cruces Retiree is on to us!!!!!

This partisan bickering brought to you by the two major parties that have us bogged down in an endless war on terrorism while running up $15+ trillion in debt.

Thanks so much to both the Republicans and Democrats, for destroying our once-great nation with your absurd, and indefensible political infighting.

You do know the Wall street bailout wash Bush, right?
Look it up, genius.

Obama bailed out the Auto workers, no greedy wall street bankers who looted our mortgages, pensions, investments, and packaged them up as derisiveness.

No need to call yourself a maroon. You're just a low information voter. It is not your fault Limbaugh, Hannity and Beck et all lie to you daily and have you brainwashed to serve your corporate masters.

Somewhat true. Distract and steal is the name of the game, but while doing so one party at least tries to mitigate the damage, while the other just screws the little guy over while placating the ignorant with: "Well we will screw the minorities, gays, women, libs, environment over even more! SO vote for us!"

If you don't know the difference just look at what is going on in Wisconsin and Ohio, and soon New Jersey.

Yes, I know I will regret replying to you.

$498 million dollars were paid to 98% of all elected federal representatives over the course of the past three years by the top 30 corporations who managed to pay NO taxes, and received $60+ billion in rebates courtesy of the American taxpayers.

Thanks so much to the Republicans and Democrats have been bought and paid for by corporations.

Well, more and more studies, keep coming out, showing she's doing in the state, and her hispanic citizens and co-race members. She is the first hispanic executive to screw over her own people even more than anyone else when it comes to hurting people in general.

And I am white, not anglo, but I agree with Juan above, she is working on upper class whites' fears, to do it!

"Reinvigorated by the passing of tax cuts for the superrich, the right-wing dominated House of Representatives along with number of right-wing state governorships have launched an ongoing war on women's rights, the welfare state, workers, students, and anyone who has the temerity to speak out against such attacks. The corporate-controlled media, especially Fox News and Clear Channel Communications, emulate the former Soviet Union's version of Pravda, its once laughable propaganda rag. "

I'm a thirteener. I am the first generation of Americans to be poorer than the one before. I am also part of the most politically conservative American demographic ever, despite the fact it is killing our middle and lower classes. We need to fight back.

"At the same time, the liberal media is as spineless as it is complicit with existing relations of power - more willing to compromise with right-wing ideology than exercising civic courage in searching for the truth and exposing the lies of normalizing power."

Read The Light, they are not reticent anymore! Gobama!

http://truth-out.org/news/item/8463-teen-preg...

Catholic social policy here is dominant, which is why we are poorer. Don't let the church decide, but you the voter, how to live your life, and decide your politics!
Take care of the lower end, especially poorer hispanics, instead!

"This is the lowest national rate for teen births since the Centers for Disease Control began tracking it in 1940, and CDC officials attributed the decline to pregnancy prevention efforts. Other reports show that teenagers are having less sex and using contraception more often. "

I worked my career. I never collected welfare. I am sorry if the reality of that is outside of your grasp. With the reality your corporate masters have created in your mind, people are no more than so much chattel to drain every last drop from, and then allow to die broken and without health care. Cradle to pauper's grave...

Maybe Las Cruces Retiree should apply at Walmart? Maybe you or your wife, or mother. Everyone should work there.
Walmart jobs are your version of the American dream? Your forefather's are rolling over in their graves. Reagan's imagery (actually the mannequins speech writer's imagery) of a shining city on a hill has been replaced in 30 short years with a Walmart apron. How sad your life must be, and those who have to share it.
My tax money will pay for some of your cancer treatment from the mining. Don't thank me, thank our president for that. you know that socialism thing. you won't mind when you need it, trust me, and you won't refuse your SS checks or medicare either. Principal only go so far, after all.

Why do I need to start a company? Why do I need to be a CEO to be afforded the dignities of being an American? Please explain yourself.

you refuse to be a miner because it is a dirty job
you will not work at walmart because there is no dignity for you
you will not start you won company (too lazy to work hard)

If by "too Dirty" do you mean I had other opportunities than mining, that did not involve trading my health, lungs etc. for a paycheck, and I took them? Than yes, you are correct.
What are you a WalMart recruiter? Over 99% of the population does not work at Walmart. Do they have no dignity? What is your point? Is it like a junior high challenge: "I double dare you to work in a mine or at Walmart!"
99% of people also don't start their own company, or work in the mines. What is it with you? you just itching to spin a tale about how you started your own landscaping company with yourself as the only employee, or you sell beer bottles on Ebay and call yourself a small businessman?!?!?!

I doubt seriously you have paid even a 1/4 of the taxes I have, so rest easy, and know you will get treatment when the mine finally gets you, on me.

There is a whole world outside of your small, tiny, bubble. A world that probably, like change and progress, makes you very afraid...

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Scorpio

You're in a very romantic and sentimental state today. You're also feeling quite sensitive and vulnerable, so you won't want to be around anyone you find abrasive or aggressive. If you meet someone for the first time now you'll think they're wonderful and your relationship will always involve putting them on a pedestal. But don't be too idealistic. They are human, remember!
