Obama: Attacks on Romney not "out of bounds"

Full story: CBS News

Updated 2:58 p.m. Eastern Time President Obama said Monday that his campaign's criticisms of Mitt Romney and other Republicans are not "out of bounds," arguing that it is the Romney campaign that has crossed the line with false attacks on him.

This man has to have screws loose - he has called Romney everything from a killer to hating women and blessing Bidens comment about Romney putting the African Americans back in shackles, and NOT PAYING TAXES FOR TEN YEARS. He has tried every DIRTY SLUR he can and he started way before Romney has - Romney has just started telling the way it is. What is the matter with Obama's brain - it is as if he knows he has nothing to really run on as far as accomplishments go and he has divided America. When he campaigned in 2008 he said he would bring us together, instead he has hurt us more than ever. Four more years and he will destroy America.

Mormon Rich Money is the father of government healthcare and the individual mandate. He raised fees on small businesses in Massachusetts.

Paul Ryan voted for TARP and the auto bailout.

Both want to cut taxes even more for the "job creators" all the while they are whining that they failed to do their job during the Bush tax cuts.

Is it too late to nominate Ron Paul?

Is it too late for the GOP to nominate a conservative for the Republican nominee instead of the RINO Mormon Rich Money? Surprisingly, no! The Republican party actually has an opportunity to return to its conservative roots.

==========
From the examiner:

RNC confirms Ron Paul will be up for nomination

The Republican National Convention is quickly approaching (August 26th). For over the past year, avid Ron Paul supporters have won delegate spots in various state conventions across the country. Through this hard-work, Ron Paul will officially be allowed to be nominated for the nominee of the Republican Party.

For the past three days, Ben Swann (Fox19 Cincinnati) has been in contact with a Republican Rules Committee member. In order for a candidate to be elected for the Republican Party nomination, the candidate must have a plurality in five or more states. If by rule, binding and non-binding policies are applied to delegates, it would still not affect the process of voting for placement of a candidate's name into the potential nominee ballot. Presidential hopeful Ron Paul does have a plurality in five or more states (Nevada, Maine, Minnesota, Louisiana, and Iowa). This means that Ron Paul will be eligible for nomination on August 26th in Tampa Bay.

Yet the question confronting the country nearly four years later is not who was the better candidate four years ago.

It is whether the winner has delivered on his promises. And the sad truth is that he has not.

In his inaugural address, Obama promised “not only to create new jobs, but to lay a new foundation for growth.” He promised to “build the roads and bridges, the electric grids, and digital lines that feed our commerce and bind us together.” He promised to “restore science to its rightful place and wield technology’s wonders to raise health care’s quality and lower its cost.” And he promised to “transform our schools and colleges and universities to meet the demands of a new age.” Unfortunately the president’s scorecard on every single one of those bold pledges is pitiful.

Yes it does. I can see why the RINOs whine. Mormon Rich Money and Paul Ryan's "solution" is MORE tax cuts for the 1%. So let's see what the 1% has done with their tax savings for the past 12 years:

Why won’t the ex-governor Mormon Rich Money release his tax returns?

Is it because it will reveal he paid no taxes? Possibly or possibly not, but it’s a little more devious than that.

We may find out that during the recession when he was given the Bush era tax cuts to reinvest in the economy and grow it, he instead shipped those savings into offshore accounts while the economy shrank and the country suffered.

The purpose? Maybe to set up trust funds for his children and grandchildren and earn interest. To guarantee his clan future wealth. Definitely a smart thing to do.

BUT it hardly supports the purpose of the Bush tax cuts which were given to encourage the 1% so-called “job creators” to go out and reinvest their savings into the American people so that the wealth could “trickle down”.

What really ended up happening? The wealth remained trapped in the 1% and shipped overseas to guarantee the survival of their future generations, while the rest of us hard working American middle class were forced to suffer during the recession.

Why won’t the ex-governor Mormon Rich Money release his tax returns? It would reveal why he fights hard for the 1%.

The only place this can make ANY sense is the case of statutory rape. There, the female "victim" can be eager and willing to engage, but by law she is too young to give consent.

This legal standard may not always be evident to her "attacker," especially if she lies about her age to get what she wants.

HOWEVER, Republicans are NOT talking about statutory rape, they are attempting to "legitimize" rape by "de-ligitimizing" womens' claims of rape. After all, aren't women simply the property of their male owners? Republicans appear to think so.

Disgusting!!

Just whining on the part of reTHUGlicans. Ignore the little turds.

Actually only Righties and reTHUGlicans believe that. "Nonforceable rape" doesn't legally exist. If you're having sex with someone not old enough to make a decision, you're either a pedophile or a predator, but you're legally a rapist.

What's your next bogus claim, that women have magical vaginas capable of preventing pregnancy due to rape??

left out a couple of words.
"Rape is rape," Mr. Obama told reporters at the daily White House briefing Monday. "And the idea that we should be parsing and qualifying and slicing what types of rape we're talking about doesn't make sense to the American people and certainly doesn't make sense to me."
Mr. Obama added that Akin's remarks underscore "why we shouldn't have a bunch of politicians, a majority of whom are men, making health care decisions on behalf of women."
The president acknowledged that his GOP rival Mitt Romney and other Republicans have distanced themselves from Akin's statements. However, he said, "The underlying notion that we should be making decisions on behalf of women for their health care decisions, or qualifying 'forcible rape' versus 'non-forcible rape'-- those are broader issues....between me and the other party."

All you have to do is read three books about Obama.'The Amateur' by Edward Kline. "The great Destroyer" and Crimes aginst liberty' by David Limbaugh and if you still for for Barack Hussein Obama you ought to have your heard examined.

PS About Rachel Maddow's book Drift. I found it to be on of the most poorly written book sthat I've read in my life. There were no notes in Maddow's book explained where she got her information from. Maddow said that the Cuban missile crisis was in 1963.(It was in late Oct 1962) and that the metal wingtips of our nuclear missiles had fungus growing on them. Only rabid, foaming at the mouth liberals would believe such crap. MSNBC is nothing but a bunch of lying, hatemongering name calling fools who are drinking the Obama Kool-aid. The lies Obama told are posted above in another post. No need to repeat them. You can Google up Obama gaffes. Really funny. Like the United sates has 57 states and Obama cannot pronounce the word 'corpsman' even though he is Commander in Chief.

THE OBAMA LIES
“I promise that I support traditional marriage-1 man-1 woman.
“I promise 100% transparency in my administration.”.
“I promise NO NEW TAXES on a family making less than $250K a year.”.
“I will allow 5 days of public comment before I sign any bills.”.
“I will remove earmarks from PORK projects before I sign any bill.”.
“I will end Income Tax for seniors making less than $50K a year.”.
“I will bring ALL of our troops home within ONE year.”
“I’ll put the Health Care negotiations on CSPAN so everyone can see who is at the table!”.
“I’ll have no lobbyists in my administration.”
“I’ll close Guantanamo.”
“I’ll resign if I don’t cut the deficit in half by the end of four years.”
“I’ll unite the people of this great country.”

On the economy, 45% trust Republicans more than Democrats, while 40% hold the opposite view. The GOP also holds a five-point edge when it comes to taxes. On health care, 44% trust Republicans more, but 41% prefer the Democrats. In both Wisconsin and Florida, more voters fear the impact of the president’s health care law on Medicare than fear Romney running mate Paul Ryan’s reform plan for the government health insurance program.

A new report by the Treasury Department estimates that the auto bailouts will cost the government $25 billion. Fewer than half of all voters recognize that the government lost money on these bailouts. Upon learning that the government lost money, just 29% consider them a success. Fifty-nine percent (59%) consider the auto bailouts a failure.

A president’s job approval rating is one of the best indicators for assessing his chances of reelection. Typically, the president’s job approval rating on Election Day will be close to the share of the vote he receives. Currently, 47% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's job performance. Fifty-one percent (51%) at least somewhat disapprove of the job

While most voters continue to believe spending cuts would be good for the economy, most don’t
believe such cuts are coming regardless of whether Romney or Obama wins in November. Expectations
of spending cuts in a potential Romney administration are little changed with the addition of Paul Ryan to the GOP ticket. With Republicans in charge, just 39% believe spending will go down.

That’s more fiscally conservative than expectations following an Obama victory since 54% expect spending to go up if that happens.

Good post from someone who can't even spell "stuttering."

The Congressman's comments were wrong in a whole variety of ways, not merely misspeaking - as when Obama said '57 states' instead of '50 states,' something Rightie idiots like you are STILL blathering about.

His medical records, like your own or mine, are nobody's business. Just STFU if you can't say something intelligent.
