Lawmaker offers new approach to price carbon in U.S.

A Democratic congressman made the latest attempt to set a national price on carbon on Thursday, floating a bill that would force companies to pay for their emissions, while using proceeds to help reduce the budget deficit and offset any price increases for consumers.

Carbon Taxes are vital to the Progressive Dream of increasing the Nation's unemployment rate to 18% within the first year the tax is in place.

The more useless, hopeless, and worthless Americans feel about themselves the more dependent and the more apt they are to settle for anyTHING with a D beside it's name on a Ballot.

In the short term, true.
In the ever so slightly longer term, in the words of Margie Thatcher, we will "run out of other people's money".
At that point, the US will cease to exist as a country, and those with resources and weapons will be obliged to defend themselves agains the DemocRATic hordes. No? What happens when the monthly welfare check buys a pack of gum? How many Trillion$$ can you throw away before the world realizes that the Obama Toilet Paper currency is worthless? Not many more, I'm afraid.
Get ready people, if Obama is elected, he will be the last President, presiding over the end of the US.
Our true debt, if printed in dollars wuld be 36 stacks of dollar bills that would reach the moon. Face it, we are bankrupt.
The choice is slow down and have a gently landing we can walk away from, or go "Forward", with the fiscal pedal to the metal until the plane runs out of fuel and we crash headfirst into the ocean.
In the former case, take swimming lessons and prepare your survival equipment. In the latter, get off the plane before that rabid Obama gets behind the controls.
