$4.68 million in Stonegarden grants coming to N.M. border count...

Six New Mexico sheriff's departments and one police department along the border will receive a combined $4.68 million in federal funds to fight border-related crime, the office of U.S. Sen.

My question is: Will these local border agencies be detaining and notifying ICE and Border Patrol when they encounter illegal activity by illegal aliens? How abot jails being MANDATED to contact ICE when releasing illegal aliens? Getting illegals out of the country would be a big savings of taxpayer's money. But of course that makes too much sense.(insert sarcasm)

AMEN!

I still say if we had more rifle ranges along the border, we wouldn't have so many illegals. Someday, if I ever move back to the border area, I may do that...buy land right on the border, build a quarter mile berm, put up signs that say "Peligro - Zona de Armas" and see how many crossers I get.
