I want the President to run the US who is best for the job and won the election. That Obama has been 'chosen' by black racists is as irrelevant to me as that McCain has been chosen by Hagee.

Or subsidized healthcare for everyone, even though it isn't working adequately in most countries. Look at Ireland for example, where 70 percent of people characterized as middle class have PRIVATE health insurance, because the public system is so bad. Private health care is growing across Europe, because it's an inefficient system.
