When you submit an article like this for publication, Mr. Gardner, you have to expect some dissenting opinions, so here's mine.

Before addressing the article, I'd like to address surfcaster's comment that Mr. Corsi's book is well researched and documented. I ask people to visit http://www.google.com/search... and see for themselves that Mr. Corsi's book seems to be just a continuation of his swiftboating tactics from a previous campaign.

Now to Mr. Gardner's letter. Paragraph 1: I have to ask where you have been, sir, when you say you have not heard any hate-filled epithets from conservatives. Republicans spent Bill Clinton's entire presidency ~ and even now, eight years later ~ hurling epithets at him. And the link above will give anyone reading it a good idea of some of the epithets currently being hurled at Senator Obama.

Paragraph 2: I have to wonder what kind of "support" it is to vote against almost every bill that would benefit active-duty military and veterans. Googling it will show who has done exactly that the past seven years. http://www.google.com/search...

Paragraph 3: I am not familiar enough with the issue of global warming to debate it with you.

Paragraph 4: The old liberal vs conservative argument has been around as long as I can remember and I won't even bother addressing it here.

Paragraph 5: Why IS it conservatives seem to hate the idea of medical care for everyone? If it's THAT bad, why continue providing it for our elected representatives and our military?

So, while liberals and conservatives continue their childish name-calling exercises, I would ask: "what is getting done in Washington that will benefit us as a nation?"

Rush, Hannity, Boortz, ect.,spend their entire programs doing nothing except talking vile about liberals--the Clintons are a particularly favorite target of these hacks. Ever hear of Fox News? Good luck in seeing a positive piece on any Democrat. Ever hear of magazines such as the Weekly Standard, National Review, and NewsMax? pages chock-full of Democrat bashing by conservatives.

Mr. Gardner, please ask your mommy to loosen the apron strings a bit, and allow you some freedom in the real world. I agree that Democrats bash Republicans as well, but if you think the conservatives are innocent little angels, you, sir, are delusional.
