<quoted text>christianity is imaginary, glad you agree. The religions own book says to kill gays.
How would any of this make me a victim in any way?
Gays get stoned all the time but unless they overdose they are fine the next day. How many gays do you know that were victims of stoning by Christians because they were gay?

Literal stoning, none, but thousands have died because of the hate and lies of the bigots of the "Christian" right.

being stoned might be better than what people that call themselves Christians (the ones that use the bible to promote hate) have done to people like Matthew Shepard!

Those guys were Christians? A thought they robed and beat him because he was gay...not because they were following some perscription in Levitical laws.

Does this mean I should stay out on Montana when consuming shell fish or pork?

Well I thought they were, they may not have been. Not every Christian uses their bible to beat people over the head with it. I am a member of a new testament church- the Church of Christ. We follow the teachings of Jesus. If there is a place in his teachings that justify the "hater Christian", I haven't found it.
Do you mean stay out OF Montana? It took me a minute to figure that out, but it may just be the pain pills talking! I hurt my back in an accident. I'm pretty sure they allow you to eat pork in Montana. Shellfish too! If you're asking biblically I don't think Jesus had a problem with eating these things, he had several apostles who went from "fishers" to "fishers of men"

I see. So it's not a matter of principle.......it's a matter of degree. Got it.

Somehow, I think that's what your whole problem is: you feel irrelevant. Gues what? YOU ARE.
Fitz wrote:
<quoted text>"Marriage is neither a conservative nor a liberal issue; it is a universal human institution, guaranteeing children fathers,
Wait, it GUARANTEES children fathers? Please tell that to all the kids whose HETEROsexual parents have DIVORCED each other, and dad isn't there anymore. You're a real peach, buddy.

Get a friggin' life.

The people who killed Matthew Shepard were drunks, never heard what their religion was.....they may have been members of the Flying Spaghetti Monster Church for all we know!

Wrong they attacked and robbed him because they thought he was in the rich 1% and they where in the 99% and wanted to redistribute the wealth.

Yeah, so what? Are you going to live on it from now on, like Morgan Spurlock did in "Supersize Me"? If you'll recall, he began to suffer horrible health problems from shoving down highly processed fast food.

I don't doubt that today will be a flurry of interest. Folks with nothing else to do DO enjoy a fine day of activity, anything beats sitting in their doily covered double wide trailers, waiting with hand on the phone for their bored grandchildren to call, but this will sputter out very quickly.

OMG, you can't get in for a sandwich in less then 30, 40 minutes. We only have one 2 in Illinois within a few miles, and they are swamped. You can order online. We drove over there, 156th and La Grange, and waited half an hour. It was after 1 PM. Anyway ot was good food, and for a good cause.
