Those drooling gun owners remind me of soccor hooligans who trample each other to death to watch a sissy soccer game. Then, if that's not enough, they throw urine filled condoms on each other. Yeah, you idiots are real mature!! LOL!!! Why in the world would anyone riot over a soccer game? Guess you tea drinkers aren't very good at controlling your emotions. Your old pal Greg

I can't wait to see the one-eighty you pull when you're back here bitching and crying because you were arrested because one of those living embodiment of competence and efficiency we know of as "government employees" screwed up and your DNA "showed up" at a crime scene. You'll all be pissing and whining about "innocent until proven guilty" *THEN*... won't you? What fascinates me is that this entire "collect DNA" idea is coming from the exact same pack of idiots who vehemently oppose stem-cell research. I couldn't have said it better. THINK,people! This is a very dangerous notion and no government can be trusted to use such information honorably.

For example, Switzerland and Canada have three times the number of shooting deaths. Violent crime rates in UK are higher than that of the US and your cops are pressing to carry guns old chap

I am sorry to inform you of this little fact. murder can be commited with out DNA evidence being left behind. As for rape it is possible as well just much more rare that DNA is not left behind.

The DNA profile will be saved on the computer not the DNA sample being saved. The DNA sample ( on the cotton swab from cheek ) used to get your DNA profile. There wouldn't be any left to plant at a crime scene and if they did it would be so small they couldn't test it if they could find it. They would have used the whole swab to get your DNA profile so they could save it on the computer for future use.

I think it's a great idea! And "innocent" people won't have to worry about their privacy - abide by the law and your DNA won't be collected. I'm also in favor of the driver's license with fingerprints. It will help stop identitty theft and won't hurt anyone who is leading an honest life. The only people who worry about "privacy" are those not leading honest lives.
