I say to collect DNA of every person in the world as a historical and medical record.

It's a invasion of a person's privacy. I can see collecting DNA after someone's been found guilty of a crime, but not before. Innocent until proven guilty.

Boy howdy and as the gov and business work hand in hand, business will know your whole family trees deficits, you know, like a lot of cancer, diabetes, strokes, heart disease at a young age and tons more and it won't just be from criminals. It can be for traffic infractions, bad driving as a kid and gosh, how many kids have gotten in trouble with the law?? WOW, talk about no privacy.

I think it was Oliver Wendell Holmes who said that such things only matter to offenders. Although I am not an offender, I oppose such measures because as Lord Acton said, "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely." It would be the beginning of the end of our great democracy, or was that the Patriot Act...

They only collect the DNA from people who commit violent crimes. So most of us have nothing to worry as long as you don't commit a federal crime. I think it is a good idea and might solve some crimes that have not been solved yet.

I think Roe vs. Wade is a baby murder law.

If you can not afford it do not 'do it'. Sex is not something that just feels good it is how people are made and people seem to forget this.

If you have nothing to hide why do you mind having a DNA record? As a matter of fact I think everytime you go to the doctor you should have a DNA update so that doctors can better understand the DNA mutation process.

To have a historical data record of your DNA could prove priceless as long as the government is not the only people privy to this information as to misuse this information.

I would want my DNA a matter of public record.
