What Obama means to me

For a community advocate and businessman, a redefining of hurtful stereotypes. For a single mother, a better opportunity to educate her son --and herself.

Just because Barack Obama is a black man, dosen't mean that his promises will ever happen, and quite frankly they won't.. He is a good speaker, but look at his record, a big ZERO !!

What President Obama means to me is unlimited abortion, abortion a day before a baby is to be naturally born, because it's a "choice" and not a human life.

Vote for partial birth abortion!

Vote for infanticide!

Vote democrat and vote Obama/Biden.

They know how to keep a population under control!

First, I'm not of the black race. In reading the art "What Obama means to me" It fills my heart with joy and eyes with tears, tears of happeness and a hope for me, my family, and hope for my future family. Im 67 years of age, I have voted in all the elections that I was allowed to vote in, But this election I'm like a little child at Xmas time I can't wait to get too the polls to vote for BARACK OBAMA for president . Not because he is black, but because I truly beleive he can and well start the USA back on the right track of building that right bridge through more of the 21st century as. Everything Barack Obama stands for we Americans need.

What if foreigner, a married man of 25 with a pregnant wife gets a scholarship to go to an American University. He deserts his wife, meets and has sex with a 17 year old girl. She becomes pregnant and has a child. The married man leaves to enter another school 5 thousand miles away, leaving the parents to care for the young child. This married man then has more children with his wife and 2 other woman.

This child grows up and writes a book, "Dreams from my Father", has nothing but praise for his fathers actions, virtues and accomplishments. Praise for the father, brief mention of his mother, grandparents or his step father who raised him, sent him to the finest schools.
I can understand the difficulty of Obama's situation, but to praise a polygamist and in this day and age, a 25 year old has sex with a 17 year old.....not worthy of praise.

You need to grow as a person. No matter who you vote for show some respect on a basic human level.

The postings before this one are mean-spirited and meaningless. I am a retired white school teacher. I was raised hearing anti-black slurs that I knew were wrong at a young age. On my honeymoon I saw a black family of 4 with the dignity of the Obama family eating a hot meal in their car because they were not allowed in the restaurant (this was before fast food). The time for racial deviousness is over ((GOP VP) hear this.) Mr. Obama is a real gentleman, a humble servant of the American people. Abraham Lincoln would be proud.

I like Obama and his naivety in governance.
McCain suddenly turned white man, before, he was(is) father of illegitimate black child. Plain's power hunger is tolerable than First Dude. As McCain gets older, he became a push over not to mention his illness and end. First Dude is very ready to drive this county into deep in to north pole in a snowmobile, and tell Americans, that snow will end soon, promising man made year long summer is here to enjoy.

God Bless America.

What worries me is that not one person in this article cited details from Sen. Obama’s official campaign platform or even what little details he’s released within the past few months.
Their support for Sen. Obama is strictly limited to their personal concept of CHANGE, whether that be racial, political (not a Republican nor beltway insider) or a combination of both.

It seems to me that a majority of Sen. Obama’s supporters are swept up in this “cult of personality” that’s surrounded him; mixed with a large dose of “Anti-Bush” sentiment. While these are very influential elements, they don’t always make for a good leader. Think of how Bush came to power based on the strong “Anti-Clinton” sentiment.

Personally I think he has a few good ideas, but without details they’re nothing more than pipe dreams. I’m worried that Sen. Obama is a modern day version of the ‘Emperor’s new clothes’ fable.
