Ummm, we drop bombs on terrorist hideouts and "accidently" kill and maim innocent women, children and babies in the process, and then we label it - collateral damage. Torture any info from torture is bogus info.The use of torture is to send a message to the general population. If you lived in a country that used torture and you saw the victims of torture you would tow the party line. A torture victim is a living reminder not to mess with the powers of ones country. Federal court strikes down refugee agreement

The United States is not a safe country for refugees, the Federal Court said Thursday as it ruled that Canada will no longer have the right to turn back asylum seekers at the border.

In the surprise judgment, the court found that Safe Third Country Agreement breaches the rights of asylum seekers under the United Nation Refugee Convention or the Convention Against Torture.

How would our political leaders know if water-boarding is torture or not? Let's have the ones voteing in favor of the procedure be water boarded themselves ---- then they'd know if it was torture or not. They could then change their vote if they felt it was.
