Romney needs to be pointing out that the marxist obamanation's illegal executive order circumventing Congress for the purpose of kissing illegal alien azz for votes has created a constitutional crisis that has to be carefully reviewed as to it's ramifications.

Romney should take advantage of the obamanation's blatant executive order illegality and propose that with a Republican House and Senate laws limiting the power of the executive branch to bypass Congress could be passed of which he would sign into law.

Executive orders aren't illegal. They been used going all the way back to michelle bachmann's favorite founding father, John Quincy Adams....take a lookie and educate yourself.

Many of the obamanation's executive orders are clearly illegal Presidential overreach. The obamanation has shown his desire to rule by executive fiat which is a direct violation of Presidential powers as listed in Article II of the Constitution.

Considering it was your Obama speaking at the La Raza convention, outlining why he couldn't issue an executive order in light of those 186 years of fact, perhaps you ought to look before you leap.

Only the ill-informed would think the President has issued any new Executive Order concerning migration in the last few weeks.

From U-T San Diego:

"Last week, the Obama administration announced that approximately 800,000 undocumented youth will be eligible for relief from deportation and be given two-year work permits through an executive order. To be eligible, they must have been brought to the U.S. before the age of 16, be younger than 30, living in the U.S. continuously for five years, either in school or graduated from a U.S. high school, earned a GED, or served in the military, and have no serious criminal history.

It is undeniable that this development will have a positive and profound affect on the lives of not only the young people who are eligible under the executive order, but also their parents, relatives and friends who will no longer have to fear the removal of their loved ones. At the same time, this shift in deportation policy leaves many important issues unaddressed.

The executive order carries many of the hallmarks of the proposed DREAM Act, a bipartisan federal immigration bill that was first introduced in 2001 that would give undocumented youth a path to citizenship."

I apologize.......... I thought it stated "executive order." I guess I was mistaken, and Obama misspoke in 2011 when he said he couldn't do that because "our Constitution doesn't work that way.".

Thanks for clearing that up for me.

It's hard to believe a politician, especially one never listens to the voice of his constituents. I will say that for once, he practiced transparancy...he did it for votes.

So some op-ed writer is terribly misinformed &/or just repeating the Fux & right-wing propaganda talking points (even showing up in some careless reporting by corporate media). He can call a can of Coke a glass of milk....that doesn't make his statement accurate or factual.

And the President's method of instituting this policy decision was clearly legal. See the letter to the White House from 96 law professors, linked here: http://immigrationimpact.com/2012/05/31/law-p...

Unless and until the President issues an official document that receives the next official consecutively numbered designation and that text appears appears in the daily Federal Register this policy change remains simply a memorandum setting forth how the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)is to exercise proprietorial discretion.

You're right. He just announced that his administration is going to ignore the law of the land until someone calls them on it. I'm sure that'll please anyone who values law and order. That's the thing about this administration:

Their 'end justifies the means' mentality that pervades its tactics.

What Obama is doing is executive overrreach, but he doesn't care, so long as he gains the 'Latino vote' and only alienates those who he doesn't give a rip about anyhow (citizens and taxpayers). He'll take the chance because it'll take too long to stop him and by then, the November election will be long over.

Here's hoping he's alienated more people than he knows - not just with this, but with his last 4 years.

Loved the Bloomberg poll: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-06-19/obam...
Well, he does have the vote of blind followers like you, who would vote for him only because of a "D" suffixed at the end of his name on a ballot.

It's not so much a strategy as it is throwing turds at a wall, but you deserve what we'll all get.

I'm just glad I don't have any children.
