Republican vice presidential nominee Palin attended 5 colleges ...

Federal privacy laws prohibit the schools from disclosing her grades, and none of the schools contacted by The Associated Press could say why she transferred.

I'm hardly tithered, but I'm definitely not voting for McCain now. Anyone who is so careless with wildlife will never get my vote.

This is pathetic. Is this the best the media can do??????????

Better yet, does anybody even care? I have to admit that I didn't even read this article beyond the first sentence.

Why is this something that we need to know? She graduated from college, regardless of how many or how long it took. But more important: she became a mayor, a governor and a candidate for Vice President of the United States.

Wow, six years to get a bachelors degree in journalism - that's like taking two years to finish kindergarten.

Yeah, who cares if she can't make a sound decision, or at least one she can stick with! Talk about "flip-flopping"!

It proves that she was too intelligent to lower herself to attend Harvard or Princeton.
Keep buzzing little liberal bees! You are scared. McCain's choice of Sarah Palin struck a nerve!

Who cares where she went to college? Boatloads of scumbags graduate from top universities, and do so with excellent grades. Top business leaders often graduate from lower-tiered schools or with less than stellar grades. There is absolutely no correlation, and thus, there is no valid newsworthy value to this story.

I will be voting Democrat in the presidential election, fyi.

Well, being white, she didn't have the benefits of affirmative action, so, coming from a family of modest means, of course she couldn't go to Harvard or Princeton.
Is this an indirect slap at her educational achievements orchestrated bywealthy liberal elites? Who decided to run this story, I wonder...
Unfortunately, many whites of modest means in this country are denied high quality Ivy League educations because, well, they're the wrong color.
As a poor white Chicagoan that put myself though college I resent what you're saying. I would hope the person running for the VP of this country would be the sort that could make the best of any situation, go against the odds, and get through college at any cost. What you're saying is an excuse for your own failings. I worked my butt off for my education and it had nothing to do with the color of my skin, but my own determination to make something of myself.

For some reason I don't believe McCain did as much vetting as he claims.

These Republicans make me sick! They all take this hollier than thou attitude, but don't practice what they preach. If Palin had the gumption attributed to her, she would stay home with her kids. They'll be the ones that suffer from her lack of a moral compass, as her pregnant Daughter has already shown.
Why doesn't Obama stay home and take care of his kids too.

Helena,
It was 5 schools in 6 years. Affirmative action doesn't apply. It's not as if she studied a year and then took time off to raise money and continued at the same school. She didn't transfer once, or twice, or three times. No matter what kind of fan of her you are. That's really odd.

There are several reasons why a student would attend 5 different schools in 6 years: none of them good.
