I live 8 blocks from the university I attended. The only difference in then and now is I don't have to go to class anymore.

I'm back here in my hometown again. I don't want to be here. I'm afraid if I move again, I'll end up back here, so maybe I should just stay here and forget going in a circle one more time.

I recently went to Patton on July 2006 for a family reunion. This was my husbands 1st trip to Patton he was so amazed that all of Pattons homes and the town were so beautifull. He told everyone in Mississippi how beautifull & neat the town was.He said it looked as though the town was painted by a artist.Thank you my home town.I was so proud of patton i had to buy a house there.

Doesn't matter where you live now; it's where you came from and how you were Born And Raised that's what matters; and you carry that with you wherever you move to. So home is where your heart can travel back to! ;) Williamstown PA

Growing up we moved around lived in over 6 different states. I have traveled and been in all 48 states on the mainland and Canada and Mexico. I live about 50 miles from where I was born. Although this land is beautiful no matter where you go. The most beautiful sight to me is wheat right before harvest with the wind bowing across it like the sea.

I left Pennsylvania 25 years ago. I got back there for 9 months a while back. It was wonderful. My job is in Florida, my husband and kids are here, but my heart is still in the Pocono mountains. I'd rather live there, or out west, than here in the heat and humidity.
Most people who choose Florida hate snow. I love it. Many people here are nuts about the SEC sports. I am indifferent.I am a reader and I think it is laziness not to pronounce the end of your words!
It is a real fish out of water thing for me to be here!
The Poconos are beautiful but the people there all talk through their noses and it's hard to understand that nasal twang. Isn't that a silly thing for me to say ??? So was your mean comment that we're lazy speakers. It's called a "drawl" darling. We all speak a little differently. That's why mid western folks all do the news and weather on local TV. Brooklyneese is funny because it has been in the movies so often. Being a southerner, cold weather is anything under 65 degrees. Sunshine and warm weather rule. See much snow in Hawai'i ???

I was born and grew up in Denver; lived in Lexington, KY; lived in LAX; lived in Tucson, Phoenix and Flagstaff; lived in Fort Worth and "BIG D." I have usually worked for the Travel industry, and have really enjoyed it. I, of course, love the mountains. Dallas is great! There are a lot of true Texans in CO, so it is not too much different than Texas. I love "ya'll!"

I was born in Seattle, WA (actully Federal Way which is between Seattle and Tacoma) and lived there for 14 years before moving to the South. I've lived in Memphis, TN; Birmingham, AL; and am now living in Columbia, SC. I'm not sure if I like Columbia or Seattle more. But one thing's for sure I HATED Mephis and if I never go back there I will be satisfied.
