He chose not to get over it but to get even. "Some of the other victims could have been shot by police officers who returned fire." Gun bans won't work if individual sellers have free rein to sell any gun they want without back ground checks. Gun dealers sell to supposedly sane gun buyers. Sanity is not a permanent condition like race, it changes.

I seriously doubt the moment unstable gun owners have that first paranoid delusional thought they race to the phone to call the police to revoke their gun carry permits. Notice the amount if instant paranoia that will come from gun owners in this thread alone.

If you want to live in a country with no firearms, move to England where people stab each other.

We have guns...not one is an illegal weapon. All are registered. In most states in the USA you do not need a permit to buy a shotgun or a rifle. Did you know that? Its true. Shotguns and rifles kill as many if not more people every year as handguns.
They need to make mandatory registration of all firearms. AND, and three week waiting period between the time you purchase it and register it, and the time you pick it up.
