S.C. Teacher Charged With Sex Crime

What do they mean "sex" anyway?

It's the law and it is justly applied here.

How the law is applied should depend on how attractive the teacher is! If she is really good-looking she should be commended and given a public citation. However, if she is sort of ugly she should be forced to have sex with the school principle at a school assembly. This seems only reasonable. I saw the picture of the teacher in question, and the second punishment seems applicable here.

ya'll are some sick ignorant men!!! my children, 1 of which is a 12 yr old boy, go to school in laurens and i would hate to think there would be adults out there who suport this kind of thing! lets take you over to the prison and let big bubba see if he can change your mind! male or female its just sick-noone should be having any kind of sex at 11 years of age!

On a scale of 1 to 10 how sick is it? How sick for 12 year old? 13, 14, 15, 16... at what age does it stop being sick and why?

I don't know how things are where you are from, but down here...things of that nature are unacceptable. How would you feel if it were your child? You only know part of the story anyways, so we would not expect you to understand. When a child is begging his mother not to go to school or particularly to that class, there is some psych. damage being done. IT IS SICKENING TO THINK AN ADULT, WOULD VIOLATE A CHILD! If you think her actions were in anyway justifiable, then you too are just as SICK as she is.

at these ages kids maybe curious--but the natural thing is when they start to explore they do it at a much slower pace and with children their own age! not grown adaults who have some sick perversion! do either of you suporting this have children?(if you do i hope some one steps into help them!) its not even really about the age difference but the maturity level! these are inocent children!! and should stay that way!!

I couldn't agree with you more... it's really sad to think of what our world is coming to today...

I think it really comes down to the vulnerability factor. Someone 11 years old is "vulnerable" and shouldn't be taken advantage of. Of course kids are curious at that age and may even feel interested in having sex but an authority figure shouldn't violate a childs right to feel safe at school.

It's differnt here in Idaho. Most sixth graders are at least 22 years old because they have been held back so many grades. When I was in sixth grade my home room teacher was 2 years younger than me!!

Can you spell Aids< venereal disease, Gonnorhea, etc.
instead of indulging in their sick fantasies with children, they would be better off in a self help class. Obviously they are not Teachers anyway! This is not the type of education I would want for my children either! I am not sure whether or not you condone this sick behaviour.

The only reason that are vunerable and may feel like having sex at such an innocent age is because we live in a hypocrite society. The leaders of our countries claim to be Christians (Tony blair revelation last week) yet all of the influencial laws are are totally anti-christian under the banner of 'freedom' so people are left to there own devices hence carrying out distubrbing acts such as this. Usee freedom of conscience has been declared everywhere so once this belief is instilled there is no fear until ur caught.

I was only joking, of course. I agree that the law should be applied evenly regardless of gender. I will admit, however, that when I was that age I was already fantasizing about some of the prettier teachers.

Mark...Your fantasizing about a teacher and a teacher stepping over the line to initiate or follow up on sex with an 11 year old are entirely different matters. The adult is supposed to have the maturity and social (if not ethical) consciousness to know what is right and wrong.

She is a child molester and should spend the rest of her days locked behind bars as far as I'm concerned! I can't express my anger enough on this subject.

This is an outrage! This women is a child molester, she should spend the rest of her days behind bars! There is a certain relationship between Teacher and Student and it is not laying down with a child and havin sex! A child that age is vunerable and does not have the mentality to dael with emotions that strong! I am so angry at the men/women that think that this is ok! What has this world come to? This women has mental issues that need to be addressed NOW! This is disgusting! I can't express my anger enough on this subject. It's as simple as this..It's against the Law!!
