1 Newtown Square, PA Support HR 4088 United States Bob Santa Ana, CA You guys are the most dumb people who dont even know the facts about this situation. Delaware Bob wrote "ILLEGAL ALIENS have caused more problems than anyone could have ever imagined and the cost is, well, just overwhelming to say the least." For your information, About all immigrants have made your "state" a better place.Without them, you would probably do all the dirty work they have done over the years. They farm, and do all the hard things, that help this country.Mostly US citizens are the ones who get introuble with the law.You guys are peolpe who dont have a life, so you try to ruing someone else's. Immigrants dont need no sympathy, or for you guys to feel sorry for you them. They want something in life, not like most Americans who's dreams go to the trash.I love this Country, and State with my whole heart. Its you peolple who make this Country what is has become.! |

Calling it mean-spirited? If anything is mean spirited, it's the government leaders of Mexico and other countries that send large number of illegal immigrants to the U. S.
This country sends millions of dollars in aid to these countries, and this is how those foreign countries repay us: By sending droves of people into this country, and sticking the U. S. taxpayers with the costs of these illegal immigrants. It's time to hold these corrupt foreign governments responsible for their corrupt actions, and it's time the U. S. stop taking these people in, and also cut-off the aid if needed. If anyone needs needs to stop being "mean spirited" it's the govenments of the countries illegal immigrants come from! |

1 Derek Schmidt, talks about the new bill wich they think is still weak. Its about workers having identification. It also says that, if a job hires an immigrant, they get fined or jailed. You guys dont know what you guys are doing. This is not God's doing. This country will fall apart, and it would be you guys fault. You people are blind. One day God will be infront of you, lets see what you will say. "LOVE THE STRANGER, AS YOU WERE A STRANGER"-Moses We are all strangers in this world. But selfish, and want-to-be corrupt people like you guy's, make the world a place where its not even about law enforcment anymore. Its almost something like , who gets to have the more money first. But sience some peolpe are immigrants, you people think its not right for them to be happy too. |

that's probably because you're an illegal alien or just someone who could care less about the future of the united states, living in la la land. i for one am very concerned because i have a son who will have to deal with the impact in his adult life. illegal alien supporters don't think about the future of american citizens. the depletion of valuable resources, more and more housing needed. more crime, more litter, more everything. we cannot afford to bring in another 100 million by 2025. deport everyone here without legal documentation. save americans!! |

Massive illegal immigration has destroyed much of Southern California especially in Los Angeles. Creating a sanctuary city with regulations like Special Order 40 has spread widespread lawlessness and gang control throughout Southern California. The love of "cheap votes" and "cheap labor" by pandering quisling politicians like Councilman Dennis Zine have led to today's dangerous and destructive situation.

The council has proven once again that it's too late America. Each child born is a citizen. We're not going to throw the parents out, so they are all here to stay. The council decision makes a mockery of the concept of citizenship. To all those immigrants who made the effort, and paid the money to get legal status-- sorry! You really didn't need to do it because it doesn't matter. To a young man from dirt poor banana republic El Salvador, LA is the Land of Oz, and Villaraigosa is the Wizard!

are you wacko? who's laws would be correct if not humans? human's are the only species intelligent enough to create laws. why in the world would anyone want to award illegal behavior with a driver's license? this would allow the criminal alien to vote in our elections. voting is a precious right afforded to american citizens born here or naturalized. illegal aliens do not deserve any more handouts. when blacks were made to sit at the back of the bus it was a whole different time and frame of mind. that argument doesn't even hold merit. illegal aliens are ILLEGAL. they are not made to sit in the back of buses so what are you talking about? illegal aliens get to use our school systems, their kids get the free taxpayer subsidized school breakfast and lunch. illegal aliens get free healthcare at our emergency rooms. illegal aliens get the job before american citizens of every color because they undercut wages and work with no benefits. it's their choice to do so. american citizens didn't force them to invade our country. oh, and illegal aliens don't have to pay income tax, yet send most of their money back to their home countries. don't even try to argue that they contribute to our economy because every penny they send back home is a penny not spent here to help boost the economy back up. they are a bigger problem than many americans know. but more americans are waking up every day. |

Arizona hospitals and doctors are worried about the resurgence of some serious infectious diseases, and some believe illegal immigrants are the cause.
Read the latest headlines about illegal immigration. A rise in diseases such as whooping cough, tuberculosis, malaria, measles and even leprosy are creating public health concerns and could hit hospitals and health care systems already financially burdened by indigent illegals flooding emergency rooms and urgent care centers. The resurgence also is fueling conservative calls for tougher border security and could cause problems for Arizona industries that rely on migrant workers for jobs in food services, construction, tourism and agriculture. The Maricopa County Health Department reported earlier this month a 100 percent increase in the number of cases of whooping cough (pertussis) over the past year. TB concerns grow Hospitals and health care professionals also are concerned about Mexican immigrants bringing tuberculosis with them to border states such as Arizona. "I've been in practice in Arizona for 25 years," said Dr. Tim Kuberski, president of the Arizona Infectious Disease Society. "The one disease that is most often associated with undocumented aliens is tuberculosis because there is a resurgence in the number of cases of TB." The federal government reports that while TB is on the decline nationally, Hispanics are the most-likely ethnic group to have the disease, and high TB rates in Mexican border areas are a big concern. Recent federal reports found that Mexican border regions have high rates of infectious diseases and that half of U.S. TB cases are from immigrants. TB rates in U.S. border regions, including Arizona, are "roughly double the national rate, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The department reports the TB rate for Mexican border areas is greater than the Mexican national rate. Greg Padilla, chief executive of Maryvale Hospital Medical Center, agreed. "Typically, TB shows up in a lot of border cities," he said. Limited health care access, lack of vaccinations, migratory population movements and poor living conditions all encourage the spread of TB and limit its treatment in border areas. There were 14,500 TB cases in the U.S. last year. Mexico has 16,000 cases annually, with one quarter coming from border areas. The U.S. has a population of 296 million; Mexico 106 million persons. Dr. Fritz Bredeek, an infectious disease specialist with El Rio Special Immunology Associates in Tucson, said tuberculosis is his biggest concern when it comes to people crossing the border illegally and bringing their diseases into the U.S. "tuberculosis is a contagious disease brought in from any poor country because TB is in countries with a poor health care structure, whether that is in Mexico or Eastern Europe or Asia or Africa," Bredeek said. "So that's certainly an infectious disease we do see." Health care worries Increased diseases are cause for obvious public health worries, but they also require hospitals and health care systems to dedicate more resources from an already strained system. Hospitals and the state and federal government often have to foot the bill for treating migrants, many of whom are indigent and have no health care coverage. Worries about immigrants bringing infectious diseases into the country are prompting conservative calls to tighten up the U.S./Mexican border to stem the wave of migrants. "Americans should be told that diseases long eradicated in this country -- tuberculosis, leprosy, polio, for example -- and other extremely contagious diseases have been linked directly to illegals," said Scottsdale Congressman J.D. Hayworth. "For example, in 40 years, only 900 persons were afflicted by leprosy in the U.S.; in the past three years, more than 7,000 cases have been presented." http://www.alipac.us/article408.html |

The American Jewish Committee and the Committee for Humane Immigration Rights in Los Angeles are anti-American saboteurs bent on defauding US citizens to benefit illegal aliens. They are relics of the communist party from the cold war, always siding against Americans' interest. They are the mortal enemy of law-abiding, citizen taxpayers and should be driven out public policy making with intense wrath. If they win, you lose.

Do we really care what anyone in California thinks anymore? Since the once-shining state now belongs to Mexico, just forget it. Governor Kenn- sorry, Swartzenegger, lives on another planet. He says illegals have nothing to do with the poor economy in his state. How about letting me sell you a bridge, Governor?

To Marlyn Monroy:
The only thing that is correct in your letter is that "they are not immigrants." Absolutly right - they are illegal aliens. By the way, are you a product of the California school system? |

Marilyn Monroe - it is not about "illegals" coming here for "happiness" - go to Outraged Patriots, American Patrol, Numbers USA and find out the truth about the very rich men who want to merge Mexico w/the USA. I think you then should watch John Adams on HBO *7 part series* and learn how some of our families fought and die for this country. You are being played.
Forbes magazine has just published its Annual Billionaires List. The 2008 Billionaire List has 1062 entries—and includes no less than ten (10) Mexican billionaires. Indeed, in second place worldwide is Mexico’s Carlos Slim, worth $60 billion. Why is the presence of Mexican billionaires relevant to the U.S. National Question? It wouldn’t be, if Americans weren’t constantly lectured by the media and our leaders to open the border to Mexican immigrants. White middle class Americans are special targets of such propaganda. They are led to believe they are horrible racists if they don’t want their neighborhoods overrun with legal and illegal aliens from Mexico. But why should middle-class Americans bear the brunt of-out-of-control mass immigration when Mexico has at least 10 billionaires who should be doing a lot more to create jobs in Mexico? By world standards, Mexico is far from the poorest country in the world. It has plenty of resources and economic advantages. They have just been mismanaged. But there is plenty of wealth in Mexico. |

Memo From Mexico, By Allan Wall
Mexican Billionaires Rake In The Cash While Middle Class Americans Are Called Racists Forbes magazine has just published its Annual Billionaires List. The 2008 Billionaire List has 1062 entries—and includes no less than ten (10) Mexican billionaires. Indeed, in second place worldwide is Mexico’s Carlos Slim, worth $60 billion. Two years ago, I wrote a VDARE.COM article about the Mexican magnates on the 2006 billionaires list, which you can read here . It was followed up by an article about Mexican magnates investing in the United States. Why is the presence of Mexican billionaires relevant to the U.S. National Question, the subject of the VDARE.COM ? I have resided here since 1991, and have had some contact with the local wealthy in the metropolitan area in which I live. And many wealthy Mexicans sure like to flaunt their wealth. I remember in my very first teaching job—when I was rather naïve, I admit. I was telling my fifth-graders (who already had a good level of English) that knowing English better could help them get rich. "We’re already rich", retorted one girl. Of course, she was right. What was I thinking, these kids were richer than me! On another occasion, I invited the kids to accompany me outside, where snow flurries were falling, since it hardly ever snows in that region. But some of them weren’t interested—after all, they regularly flew to ski resorts in the U.S.! And these kids weren’t even from millionaire families, of which there are plenty. But what Forbes is talking about is billionaires—dollar billionaires—and the magazine lists 10 of them. In fact, it’s highly unlikely there are only 10 billionaires in Mexico. A private analyst (whose name I won’t divulge) has sent me his own Mexican billionaire list. According to his analysis, Mexico has 28 billionaires, 18 of whom are not listed by Forbes. The unlisted billionaires keep a lower profile and hide or don’t report or all their assets. That seems highly likely. It’s been estimated that 40% of Mexican businesses and 70% of Mexican professionals and small business owners cheat on taxes, so that up to 50% of potential tax revenues go uncollected.[Mexico planning to raise its tax receipts, By Marla Dickerson, and Carlos Martinez. Los Angeles Times, Jun 21, 2007 (Pay archive)] Nor does Forbes report the wealth of Mexican narco-magnates, whose millions of satisfied American customers have made them quite wealthy. It’s highly likely, though, given the narco-barons’ use of legitimate businesses as fronts, that some of their wealth gets included as parts of the fortunes listed in Forbes anyway. |

its so frusterating to read things like this about immegration laws. How was america started? do those who run this country remember anything they learned in school. It is about the freedom and the land of dreams. It is a place where we have our rights and we are not persecuted because of how we think as individuals. Back in the days of the Gold rush we had racism, we see the chinese immegrants put out of jobs, we see those who were not originally from he country take over land that is not theirs and kill off those who were from the country. Did we forget the Indians, they had no problems with the explorers except when their land was being ruined. Yet the explorers had problems with them. Back to the times when the Chinese and other immegrants were losing jobs because it was not their home land. This is America, we are in he year 2008 and things still have not changed. Americans claim that the immegrants are costing us to much money and taking over jobs and housing, yet if they were not there we still do not see Americans stepping in and taking their place. We pledge to the flag, a protestant country declaring that we are UNDER GOD, which is true in every aspect, and for a country that was based on good morals and values, America seems to have only turned into a selfish country. I am from the country born and raised, so are both my parents. Its just sad to see so many of my friends hurt because they are in constant fear of being deported when they had no choice to come here in the first place. I think rules need to be made yes, and there needs to be some sort of enforcement. But for those who are already in the country those who were near 2 when they came over, those who were given no choice, it is not fair to them.
