When was the last time the ATF raided a West or South side Gang stronghold? Not lately that is for sure, and when 40 people are shot in one weekend, it makes me wonder how many have been shot in Lake Forest in a total Century?

You're telling me Uzi's, Ak's, AR's arent stockpiled at some of these 140+ Chicago Street Gangs quarters? Give me a break---this was a nice show and tell grandstand for a bunch of agencies to say "hey, we're doing something about the violence too"...yeah but you got the wrong town and the wrong guy.

Local Yokel Police could have handled this by detaining him outside of his home and than going in with a search warrant, but instead we get a bunch of agenices showing off and the news media there too.

Wrong priority---the guns that are killing are in Chicago,not Lake Forest. If they make a big bust in the coming weeks in Chicago than I'll be satisfied these agencies are in fact working both ends of the gun problem, if not, they're just going after easy pickings so they can fill out a report for the month.

Why Was ATF there This Is an IL Law. The man has no convictions. ATF may be breaking the fedral laws.
This is just one of the resons we need to get ride of the ATF.

Dear Joe Blow,

Stevens was also accused of hitting his teanage son and daughter in the same incident. Now maybe all three are lying or maybe Stevens is a rich pig with a hugh arsenal who likes to push people around. But someone in the know was afraid enough of him to rat him out.
Maybe the cops should have just sent him to the Deerpath Inn with all the other wife beaters!

Too bad the buy wasn't a Chicago Police Officer, then the illegal guns would have magically turned into "an administrative mistake". A chicago police officer kills two and nothing, but, this story is a headline. Here is my headline:

Actually, I felt a bit sorry for Tank, but not only a little:

- Tank was on probation for carrying a weapon in his car.

- There were numerous reports of gunfire at his home, in his back yard.

- There were several loaded rifles in plain view, with a young child present.

- He did not have a POID card. It is a joke to get, as long as you don't have a record. He was foolish not to have one.

So, I put both of these guys in the same category. They earned their fate.

Now, if this were in Chicago, and they were busted for not following the draconian mine field Chicago registration rules, I might give them a break.

Are we as a nation moving closer to FREEDOM? Or closer to SLAVERY? If we drew a scale with total freedom on the right end and total slavery on the left end I would say we just moved very far towards the left.

They are his guns, if he bought them while he had a FOID card then they should not be illegal. Most states do not require FOID cards. I bet you none of his guns ever harm a single hair on any living body.

maybe the ATF went after the WHITE guy in the suburbs because the new superintendent of the CHICAGO POLICE DEPARTMENT has not invited the federal athorities to help them, which by the national attention the city of CHICAGO is getting maybe they need the help. lets put the FED. AGENTS on the streets of CHICAGO, since the CPD can't seem to ge a grip the situation.
