Like other veterans, I am surprised that Mr. Coffee could round up 40 veterans who support McCain.

When they learn about his aiding and abetting the enemy by preparing anti-American propaganda while a POW in Vietnam, they might have second thoughts. Mr. Coffee doesn't mention that; nor does the media.

If a Democratic candidate had McCain's record -- as a POW or by his votes on veterans' bills in the Senate -- the radical rightwing Republican-controlled news media would run him/her out of town on a rail.

You might be right, so it is best to run a candidate who has zero military background at all.

Wonder how many veterans you can round up for Obama? None of his former shipmates and that is a fact.

I wonder how long YOU could have held out before doing what the enemy tortured you into doing...as opposed to that darling Kerry who came back a sold us out. I suppose Hanoi Jane is an idol of your too.

Today's news that deployed troops donate to Obama 6-1 over McCain tells us that those on active duty in the Bush War Zone also feel as do so many of us veterans.

Yes, I know, you didn't hear anything about that on GOP/FOX cable television.

McCain, son of the then-commander in chief of Pacific forces, was offered an early release by the North Vietnamese but refused to go. That showed McCain's courage----- No, it showed Mccains stupidity. Did he think he could do more at the Hilton as an inside spy, give up more sensitive US info?

Mccain was DEAD in the water in Jan, begging for hand-outs, a loser, it was mainstream news. Not the peoples choice, he's corrupt corporate americas choice.

Everyone who went to the state GOP convention witnessed how corrupt the GOP is. Proper procedures were not followed, votes were not properly taken, Mccain was railroaded in.

Those against mccain were not given explanation or a voice, total corruption. As a result the party will not be supported by all who 'this time around' registered republican/fashist. the GOP is set-up to fail.

Mccain is a nothing in the peoples eyes, a patsy, a corporate shill placed by the war profiteers who also own Obama. With either, more war is guaranteed.

McCain is too old, ignorant, out-of-touch and just another continuation of this stupid greedy power lust oil agenda for the Bush's corrupt family interests.

He is already bought and sold by special interest groups bent on prostituting the democracy valves for their own profit.

If there wasn't a war going on Obama
would be okay, but since we are in a
war, also the Georgia invasion,
McCain is the President we need.

Ask Jerry Coffee if he was offered early relese would he have taken it.

Maccins only reason for going to the Nam occupation was b/c his father was commander in chief of Pacific forces.

Its 'declassified' information the Gulf of Tonken incident was staged by the U.S. the available intelligence shows that there was no attack. NVA intel units sometimes succeeded in penetrating U.S. communications systems, could monitor U.S. message traffic from within.

Several times NVA were able, by communicating on Allied radio nets, to call in Allied artillery or air strikes on American units." U.S. needed escalation, needed to fake Tonkin to get full support/draft for the occupation.

Brian Bott believes "McCain's the right man for the job." Our nation is not secure b/c we invade other countries for profit, not security.

Mccain is the right guy for more wars, more wars for profit. Obama is right behind him, only Obama has more of brainwashed Americas support.

Huh? Other than your word I find zero evidence to support your claim.

BTW, you can quit posting the vietnamveteransagainstmccain link...unless you like being a copycat swiftboater...figures, a rapid DNCer can't even come up with anything original.
