Ageism is wrong, no matter the person or topic.
I think all candidates are using the same tired mantras of Change and Hope, it is all that seems to be on the news. I hope there is change but change for change sake with no direction, purpose, and plan, is after all...just change.

Obviously Mr. Johnson has not looked at Senator McCain's extensive record nor listened to or read his proposals for the future. Perhaps Mr.Johnson could write another letter telling us what Senator Obama has actually accomplished in the Senate. Don't worry, Mr. Johnson. It won't take a long time because there is nothing to write about.

What was Ronald Reagan's track record when he was elected other than his beliefs and his message? A basic question is; if we reduce the influence of big money lobbyests, a change only Obama can bring about, will America, and average Americans, receive better representation in our national affairs. This will be a fundamental change. Is it for the better? author craig johnson

McCain is still a young man-- these "children" who don't know much about how the world works think we people in our 70s are to tired to do anything. Grow up child-- we are all still working and happy doing so-- 78 isn't old and I'm still alive.

Most people wouldn’t send an economist to fight a war. Let’s not elect a soldier to help fix our economy as our President. BUSH’S ECONOMIC RECORD speaks for itself. 2. The failed Republican policy of BORROW and spend, including spending AT LEAST 500 BILLION DOLLARS in Iraq. They promise lower and lower taxes (mostly for the rich), but eventually the bills become due. This is why, after the U.S. has spent several TRILLION dollars more than it has taken in, THE U.S. DOLLAR has become so devalued, which has RAISED THE COST OF NEARLY EVERYTHING. 3. Bush/McCain warmonger priorities. WAR, WAR, WAR. Everything else comes later. Also, even if the impulse for war wasn’t misguided, McCain has demonstrated that he doesn’t even know who the “players” are in the Middle East. Lieberman had to explain this to McCain by whispering in his ear. 4. McCain’s F L I P – F L O P on TORTURE (from an interview with Chris Matthews):“I won't go through all the details of it, but it does not allow torture, and it will not allow torture. And at the same time, I think you do understand that there are some people who are very, very bad people, and I think that to continue a program for some of them, without torture, is something that we can't deprive the President of the United States of.” In other words, McCain seems to believe that, sometimes, torture is okay for “very, very bad people”. F L I P – F L O P. 5. Bush and McCain have shown a complete lack of care for average Americans. On the day Hurricane Katrina came ashore, where were Bush and McCain? They were together, eating cake at a fundraising event. (see the story and picture at http://www.newsweek.com/id/133551 ) 6. McCain first pandered to the “Christian Right,” but has more recently abandoned them. Another F L I P – F L O P. For example, after cozying up to TV preacher Jerry Falwell for many years, McCain slammed him as “an agent of intolerance” in 2002. Still later, he has decided once again to cozy up to Falwell who said Americans “deserved” the 9/11 attacks. F L I P – F L O P. 7. Obama won’t accept lobbyist or PAC donations and neither will the Democratic party. McCain has TALKED about reducing the influence of shady, sleazy lobbyists in Washington. But, he’ll still take their money. F L I P – F L O P. 8. McCain’s many, many positions on immigration are nearly legendary. Just do a web search on “McCain immigration F L I P – F L O P” and you’ll get thousands of links. Here’s one example: http://rawstory.com/news/2008/McCain_suffers_... F L I P – F L O P. McCain Equals: More BUSH policies. More F L I P – F L O P S. More Wars. Grow up little boy-- I don't think you have even started to understand what is going on in this world-- & why. Or are you a Hillery fan.

He put the fiscal health of the state on a road to recovery, then Gray Davis screwed it up. Now look at that state. Luv 'ya kid, but you need some more education.

For twenty years obama has went out of the way to attend that church. Obama was not forced to sit in the pews of Trinity church. He voted with his feet and his time in support of Reverand Wright. McCain, however, is a Senator working with the President of the United States of America. Bush is the leader of America whether McCain likes it or not. Obama, on the otherhand, feels the need to be buddy buddy with the leaders of Iran, and not his own President. No, Obama's too good for that. Obama doesn't "play Washington politics". The fact remains that Obama chooses and willfully seeks ties to people like Reverand Wright. Those ties are closer than the ties of McCain and the Presient George W. Bush ever was.

The 2nd most decorated soldier in the history of the military (Bud Day)who was John McCain's cellmate speak so "glowingly" about McCain's courage and honor. Just google "Bud Day" and you can listen on youtube among others. Obama is an EMPTY SUIT WITH ABSOLUTELY NO EXPERIENCE IN ANYTHING!!!! Obama proves that all you have to do is excel in speech class, get a good speech writer, be tall and thin and anybody and I mean ANYBODY has a shot at being president!
