Edwards admits affair, denies fathering child

Who cares, no one should really care if he did or he didn't have a affair. What does his political stance on a certain subject have to do if he cheated on his wife. Check his record, the man has done nothing but do good thru his policies. So i don't care if he cheated.

You have to be pretty cold and ruthless to cheat on your wife when she's got cancer. I don't think the average American would want someone like that for President. You know he was wanting her to hurry up and die.

And, I came down just as hard on Newt Gingrich for his affair. I'm a big Madonna fan, but I hope her husband takes every dime she's got after what she's done.

Yeah, sounds like something we heard before "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" Don't they get it? Sooner or later their gonna get busted. His career may be doomed I'm sure the VP position is not in question.

I actually think that this is important, how a person handles their personl life is a reflection of how they will run their office & by extension their policies!

So, I assume you won't be voting for McCain, then? After all, he cheated on his wife and left her after she had been debilitated in an auto accident. He went after the young thing 17 years his junior. Married her a month after his divorce was final. So, I agree with you.. a man like that should NOT be president.

I agree with you it isnt a person thing towards me but lying to our country is an insult to us all..But saying that, adultry affects us all,

DNA will determine the paternity of the child regardless of what Mr. Edwards said. I just wonder why he chose to tell the truth about it now, 2 years or so later? Why did he not just tell the truth about it then---that way he would have have been a cheater, but not a liar too.

Affairs happen. It doesn't make them right, but they happen. Men, and women are infalliable. Affairs are hurtful and the collateral damage caused by them many times is of epic proportions. But many times the relationship can be saved, and people can be forgiven.
