"Americans are usually optimists, but in 2011, polls for the first time found that more than half the country thought that economic conditions would worsen in the next 12 months," says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. "Now that trend has reversed itself, with only four in ten saying that the economy will be in poor shape a year from now."

That is because 6 out of 10 people expect that a year from now the new president will have the economy back on course.

Here's Obama promising to CUT THE DEFICIT IN HALF...

oops, we're now in debt $15 trillion, Obama's not keeping his promise.

Let's see home values are in the tank,
investments are pathetic,
interest rates are nil,
unemployment is 8+%,
price of food has skyrocketed,
can't depend on America for energy,
Obamas Energy?Transportation want gas prices near$7
millions & millions are on food stamps, welfare, less than 50% of Americans pay taxes,
the US's borders remain porous,
Obama has involved us in Yemen, Syria, Libya, Somolia, Sudan and on and on,
Obama has failed to unite Americans, he divides

there is no reason to re-elect Obama

It's just the media pushing Obama.

The media attacked Bush, but can't find anything wrong with Obama.

That is the saddest part. How easily Americans can be duped and manipulated.

WAKE UP!

OUT with ALL democrats in NOvember!

Reclaim or country or be stuck with someone like millionaire comedian Chris Rock who's complaining about July 4th and Independence Day...

Chris Rock: "Happy White People's Independence Day"

Well, just don't celebrate July 4th, Mr Rock. Still be stuck in Africa scrapping together an income and life. Your African kings SOLD you into slavery. They didn't fight to make sure the slave traders wouldn't take you, they sold you OFF.

Meh. The media jumps on even the slightest blip of good news, if they think it'll help their man in election season.

paraphrase from article "Although most Americans think that the economy is currently in poor shape,(however?) economic optimism has skyrocketed since last fall, according to a new national poll."

Will Americans express that optimism by buying more goods and services ... or put another way, can Americans afford to buy more goods and services without resorting to 'credit'?

I guess you are doing your part, however small it may be. To bad the socks and shoes are made in Asia. Don't worry American Corporations get the profits, even though Asians get the jobs.
