I think gas will go lower. Why is there not an option to vote for a lower price?

Nice try but your buddy Senator (hic) Kennedy had 30 years to do something and done nothing but block drilling, new refineries and nuclear power. We are letting 595 people tell 300,000,000 what to do, when we can do it and how. I left Detroit because of the gas prices, mass trans needs to pick up in Michigan. I pay 81 dollars a month here for the trains and buses I can get anywhere! No car insurance, gas, or maintanance.
Work closer to home and ride a bike-Michigan is overweight! It'll help...:D

This poll is stupid. It assumes the price will only go up. We get no choices below $5.00. I say it will be closer to $3.00 than $5.00. I suppose I'm in the minority on this.

hey i live in saint claire shores,just out of detroit,you know lake saint claire?well yeh i agree gas is way to mch here.it's just a bad state though.i'd move any day but i'm twelve.:)

I'm sure gas is going to up to at less 6.00 this next year, it migth no tstay there. That is if it dose like dose every year. If you watch the oil company do this every year. Sometime it drops back some,but it never goes backs to were it was. Every year gas prices are raised.Now tell why would gas prices drop because of a storm? We are all being lied to. Obama is bad news. He dose not have what it will take to pull us out of the mess we are in right now and if you add Hilary and Bill in,we are in alot of trouble. I guess everyone forgot about Hilarys little health program when Bill was the chief in command. Everyones health cost went up because of Hilary. She cause promble then we don't need her causing more. I know I will not vote for Obama because of Hilary and a few other reasons.

You are wise beyond your years. Think about it, if we had drilled ANWR fifteen years ago we would be ok today, but the real issue is if we and most of the are not dependent on middle east oil then the value of the middle east dries up, their wealth disappears, and their money to terrorist dries up. We solve a lot of usa and world problems by just becoming more self reliant.

Are people really that uneducated? I think so. First the poll is flawed because it doesn't even give you a choice of the current price of a gallon of gas.Also gas will be less than it is a year from now.
Why?
Because we are currently in a election year
The dollar is worthless
The barrel is dropping

All the talk about gas hitting $4.00 a gallon. Gas in South Carolina is $3.55 a gallon, in Detroit, over $4.50 for months. It's not hitting it. It has surpassed that. This week the price signs read ($4.10) cash. Use a credit card and you pay $4.60. This was a new idea. When it was close to $5.00 everyone paid the same. The owners want you to come inside, buy some soda, chips and other items which are almost doubled in price from your supermarket. BLAME the oil compamies and the owners.
