President Obama's initial decision was a DEFENSE of religious freedom!
Religious freedom is a right of PEOPLE not their corporate bosses....even if those corporate bosses work for non-profit corporations and wear magnificent gold embroidered power robes and gold crowns!!
The OLD supposedly celibate bachelors and the evangcial fuindiments dicators, must believe that, without the force of law to restrain them, the Catholics employees at a hospital will run down and get prescriptions for birth control pills.
It should NEVER be management's right, even if the managers wear vestments and gold crowns and dump their scared sperm on their bedsheets, to impose their religions dogma on their employees. what typical foolish nonsense. A total waste of words.

However being Irish anything he said needed to be taken with a grain of salt,,, or a shot of whiskey perhaps.

I thought you were just a liar. Religious freedom is freedom for people and for the organization known as the church. The people are the church. To say obammy was standing for religious freedom is a blatant lie or a statement by a fool. And there is no right to paid birth control. And the church wasn't imposing anything on anyone. They simply didn't want to pay for it. If you state it any other way then you lie and are an idiot.

It depends on how much political damage the Church can do between now, and November pounding on the President's violation of their constitutional rights. And how the Catholic members feel aabout it when they enter the ballot box November 6th. I love it.

If I'm employed by a Catholic university or hospital and taxes are deducted from my check, because that religious institution employs somebody to deduct taxes from my pay, then they are considered "equal opportunity employers", they don't get to tell me what and what I can't do concerning my health.

Not one atheist, protestant, jew, methodist, or any other religion. And all of them believed it was wrong to take B/C pills.

I am and always have been an American that is proud of this country. I understand Washington needs changing, so, many believed Obama's lies, and in the spirit of "Hope and Change" he was voted into office! BUT, now that he has a record to be judged by, if Obama does not OVERWHELMINGLY LOSE the 2012 Presidential election, I will, for the first time in my 65 years of life be ASHAMED to be an American.

Don't worry. President Obama, as much as he would like to ignore it, has to run on his nearly non existant record. The issues he has chosen are not what Americans want for themselves, or their country. We are trillions of dollars in debt, and he has nothing to show for it. Unemployment is higher today then it was the day he was sworn it, and he is still killing more jobs then he is creating. The car companies he spent trillions on is manufactoring cars no one wants. His green companies went belly up after a trillioin dollars was wasted. Our educational system is still failing thanks to his Teacher's Union buddies. I could go on, but you get the message.
