And you know for a fact, "T mac", that "the president is making a lot more money with this war going on than if there was no war" based on what information?
Do you have access to data pertaining to the Prez' blind trust?
Or are you just making assumptions based on what Ramdan and Publius have been telling you in their dreams?
and i didn't say i knew that for a fact i know that from no one other than a teacher i dont even know who those people are that you are talking about

If we were supposed to go after Al Qaeda, then what are we doing in Iraq? Al Qaeda was not there before, they were in Afghanistan. And we had Osama Bin Laden trapped in Tora Bora and Rumsfeld screwed that one up. And now they are in Pakistan.
And why didn't Bush confer with Bob Gates, James Baker, Brent Scrowcroft, or his father on going to Iraq. Why did Bush only listen to the neo-cons?
Bush has made a mess of the Middle East. Bush not only has a quagmire in Iraq but also in his brain.
They are all Al Qaeda! Quit beating this dead horse!

You certainly can't believe that until recently the economy has done well. No one who actually lived through the bush economic pain could believe that. Remember after 9/11 the stock market lost 40% of its value? I had purchased Honeywell stock at $85 per share. It sank to $19 per share. How is that a great economy? The Dow Jones fell to about 6200 from its high of almost 12000. The value dropped in half. Honeywell still hasn't recovered to its $85 mark yet.
No wonder you think everything is so bad..
you don't look at things completely.
Honeywell had a 2-1 split after it hit 85. You have twice the amount of shares. It's now about $55 a share(in effect to you $110 a share) up about $36 bucks from it $19 low in late 2002..
Plus it's been paying dividends quarterly..
a 30% return on investment..
yeah pretty sorry...

What we need to do in November is vote all the idiots out of office and stop special interests groups to save our country. More then half of the congress and senate republican and democrat are nothing more then memebers of a fancy club fed were they legally steal our money and point the finger at us and tell us we are to blame. No accountability for there actions. Now think about this... We are blaming terrorist for September 11th .. which is true. who is at fault for this? Who put the weapons into our enemies hands? I will tell you this, its common sense... Organize crime. They give the weapons and the terrorist in return give the MAFIAS of the world the money. So if we destroyed Organized crime totally then maybe 911 would have not happened in the first place. The fruit of the poisonous tree.. Organize crime-dirty politicians-enemies whether terrorist or extremeists(same thing in a nut shell)- Well us americans have to wake up and smell the coffee. But people will never change because of the media brain washing and selective racism.

no i am stating that because thats what my history teacher told us, when i was still in school, presidents make more money during a war than in a regular term.
This from a history teacher no less.
Did any of the leading lights in your classroom even think to question the teacher about the basis for such a ridiculous statement, or to ask him to back up his information with some facts or statistics?
It would be great if someone currently in that teacher's classroom could surrepticiously record the guy and then notify FoxNews' Bill O'Reilly if the teacher spouts any more hogwash like this.

bush is a war criminal! And I'm not left or right I'm upside down and disgusted with the current administration and all you people who are blinded by the fact that this war is about greed and power. There will allways be terrorist. Now I'm not saying I agree with bin laden and al quida (however that's spelled but you know what I mean) but they're doing the same thing we'd be doing and that's protecting thier way of life. if you want facts on bush and is scheme watch farenhight 9/11 those are facts and you can deny it all you want. This whole war is about money and power. And the reason presidents make more money during war is because they put thier money in the right places. For instance high risk stocks in oil and defense companys. I'm sure gas mask company stocks are up.

It was well over 85 per share, then it split and went back up to $85 per share. That is when I got my shares, Then it dropped. The dividends have been less than 1%. I know, I get them every quarter. If it keeps going up, I might get my investment back. Not so great for a 7 year investment.
