1 Thank God, America put George W. Bush in for a second term. History will eventually write that Bush may well be one of the greatest American presidents, at least when it comes to foreign policy and national security. The world has changed dramatically for the better since his presidency. France, and Germany both have elected conservative leaders who are more closely aligned with our president than we may have ever had in history. Many of the despots have backed away from opening supporting our enemies for fear of reprisal, the only terms many of these terrorist nations understand. It is only the clueless who can't see through their delusions and hatred for Bush the facts that are clearly in front of them. |

1 Bush was "voted" into office. not "argued and viewed" into office. I'm glad Gore did not win, we would all be living in caves, having Green dreams. |

part-2 ~THE HIGH SKOOL YEARS(tpc)
*(Note from Obama: As I have said previously, my policy is to name this chapter "The High Skool Years"; it was never my policy to name this chapter anything else.) ~ The strategy of sloganeering seemed an ideal one for building revolutionary fervor in the hearts and minds of the oppressed masses. As a political weapon, it is a masterstroke; a minimal amount of data for low-information proletariat types to remember, yet an almost hypnotic effect from the repetition of the message. ~ Obama was excited at his discovery! He wanted to rush home and tell mom the news, but first he had to go and buy some band candy or the telescreen would report him. ~ Obama's favorite subject in high school was Parliamentary Melodrama, taught by Mr. Trotsky. Despite Barack's love of the subject, his class participation was minimal and his report cards show him merely as "present" for these sessions on most days. ~ Even worse, Barack persistently fell behind in Chemistry where his project to develop a Revolution-Promoting Extremely-Rapid Oxidation Device was, to coin a phrase, a dud. ~ Luckily his lab partner little Billy Ayers was an expert in such matters, having blown up many tools of the oppressors in his mansion as a child. ~ Billy was happy to help Barack out; in fact, he was always wishing he could do more, at least when it came to explosions. Thank you, we all need prayers. I am thrilled to accept them, I am already abundantly blessed and highly favored, but will take all the prayers I can get! |

1 Even though I have believed strongly if Obama was the democrat candidate that McCain would win fairly easily in November, I don't think anyone including myself would have believed that McCain would even be within single digits this early. This could be a cake walk, if Obama's coat tails are bad enough, could we dream of the House as well? http://www.newsmax.com/headlines/Obama_McCain ... |

1 Funny, you posted to a dead link. Let me help you out. Here's a post to a Gallup poll from YESTERDAY: http://www.gallup.com/poll/109102/Gallup-Dail... It shows Obama with a 9 point lead, his largest yet against McCain... |

A man who who has a history of supporting anti-american views must defend his patriotism. And to lay claim to a relatives service before his birth is not a good defense.
Further, after listening intently to the man, I have no clear idea what he really believes, his voting record, although spotty, is an indication. He does not seem to have the time to vote. He wants to lead this Coountry, but he must show a true devotion to what it stands for, and must show by action and not merely words his ability to lead. |

Do you hold GWB and Dick Cheney to the same standard? |
|
Kafur Where is the proof Sen Obama was sworn on the Quran? As far as I have seen anywhere, that is rumor. As far as the rest of your post, innacurate. I served with several Muslim soldiers who would also call this garbage. These soldiers performed their duty without fail. Facts are facts, rumors are rumors. Show the facts. |

I hold everyone to the same standard. Myself included. |

1 Sorry, I don't know what happened. What the polls show are both Gallup poles. Registered voters show a 9% lead for Obama However Likely voters show a 4% lead for McCain. Even with the 9% lead for Obama, that bodes very well for McCain being that close in July, especially after the nonstop media coverage of Obama's trip. The hope was that McCain would be withing 15 points at this stage since traditionally republicans close as November comes closer. At this point, it looks outstanding for McCain, much, much better than I thought, and I have never doubted that McCain will win, and win big, it is now looking like it could well be a landslide for McCain. |
Thank you. You are an honorable person. |

I am a dinosaur, I still believe in honor. Thank You Sir |

1 Well, if Obama had a cleaner history, could keep his big foot out of his mouth, and his finger out of his rear, he would not have so much to explain. |
