Clinton is spot on when he says, "The Republicans should be very careful in trying to play politics with this London airport thing, because they're going to have a hard time with the facts,"
Ignoring the facts is nothing new for the Republicans - it's the foundation of their entire political strategy. Fixing the facts to match political ideology is their standard operating practice and anyone who believes anything the Bush Administration says these days is a complete fool... |

"The Republicans should be very careful in trying to play politics with this London airport thing, because they're going to have a hard time with the facts,"
Facts are that act like the patriot act allow us to connect the dots and prevent terrorist attacks. Facts are also that the democrats are consistently undermining the war on terror with there phoney outrage and revealing of methods. Facts are too that Bill Clinton did nothing more against Osama than send some cruise missiles to empty tent camps in Afghanistan after earlier terrorist attacks. Had Clinton attacked afghanistan like Bush did there would be no 09/11, for this utter failure of this clownish president (Clinton) to accuse anyone on security is a joke!!!! |

Bill promised on 8 different occasions to bring the "terrorists" to justice... his actions amounted to little more than a popcorn ****.

Bill Clinton did a great job because in the time he was president, there were no major wars or deaths of American army men and women. The world also was in a much more peaceful state and America was still admired throughout the world. Now, Americans are seen as weird, useless, war mongers, false prophets (people can change their minds very fast indeed) materialistic oil hungry pigs with no heart for other countries. Sure, clinton did a few things wrong too but the main thing was that there were NO terrorist attacks changing the whole world view of America. I prefer Clinton any day over Bush. PS Bush has a great way of always linking himself to successstories of other countries and doing as if all was his idea. Like with Australia: he does as if he is the big man there whilst in fact Australia is the country who stopped Bush from doing even more foolish things, like attack a village of only peasants in Iraq. The Australians stopped that from happening. I know because I was there. I am American and have been serving in the Army for 6 years and have seen it and am not proud any more of my country.(I am 32) 4 of my best friends died in Iraq. Ones I went to primary school with. Thank you mr Bush. |

Apparently the WTC Bombing in 1993, the bombing of the Khobar Towers, the US Embassy in Kenya, the US Embassy in Tanzania and the bombing of the USS Cole have all escaped your memory, all during Clinton's administration. He swore those responible would be brought to justice.. his idea of justice were a few cruise missles into the mountians of Afganistan.. I refer you to this article.. http://www.nationalreview.com/york/york-issue... |

People like you with your head in the sand scare me more than terrorists. You think the world was better when Clinton was in office, just because we weren't in a war? Do you realize that Clinton IGNOREING the problems didn't make them go away???? Who cares huh? When they are not in this country? Who care radical Muslums are after the US as much as Israel. Israel is just closer and gets thier attention more. You sound like someone who joined the army to get your schooling and are **** that you were sent to Iraq. Your "I'll join as long as I'm not asked to do anything" mentality sickens me. Go ahead, tell eveyone how you were there. Tell everyone that gives you a right to bad mouth our President and country. Clinton was the apitamy of the "do nothing crowd". While I don't agree with everything Bush does, he is my president, trying to fix what PAST presidents have just swept under the rug. Problems ignored by past presidents. |

...fair enough, lowell...but fixing the problem by creating 100 other problems or playing the complete and total ignorance of occurrence card isn't really fixing much...

What the crap is this site????http://www.chemicallyf ulfilled.blogspot.com/
Thier slogan is: The world filtered though bong smoke? I quit smoking pot in high school. If that's how you want to view current events, that's your problem. However, we are talking about the presidents here. Real world issues. Issues that don't go away with a "bong hit". That site has more profanity than most porn sites (so I hear) written , I take it, by a pot smoker. Sorry, I left the world of make believe behind. We live in the world where if you try to ignore problems, they come back worse than if you would have fixed them sooner. Hezbollah HAD to be taken out now. Imaginge what it would have been like in 2 more years.(this might be where the bong hit is nessassary). Imagine Hezbollah with anti aircraft missiles, tanks, helecopters,....nukes. Afganistan is where Bin Laden was, maybe is. Iraq was under the tyrany of Sadam, which past presidents put in power, armed, and trained BOTH of those despots. You think the US owed the people of both those countries SOMETHING for our past misteaks? Or should everyone take another bong hit and say "whatever". I can not sit back and just believe Bush , for want of anything better to do, started either of these wars. People are pulling the WMD card out and saying there never was any. Ummmm, excuse me? There proof all over the place he was using the chemical and biological weapons on his OWN countrys citizens. Again, PAST presidents sold him the weapons, if not tecnology to develop those weapons. The British sold the antidote to Sadam for biological weapons, which they reversed to MAKE biolgical weapons, all with the US's knowledge. The US supplied Laden in Afganistans fight with Russia. So, why souldn't we think Russia is supplying the weapons NOW in our own Afganistan? The world is too complicated for me to understand, and for me to read what someone wrote who looks at the world though bong smoke, well that's asking too much. |

...nope...sorry...can't stick the normal pothead label to me...while yes, i do smoke, i am also very aware of the world as we know it...the fact that i choose to make fun of those events and people, often in a profane or offensive matter (By the way, you're the one always saying crap on here...i leave my profanity on my website...)has no barings on my intellect, as you perceive it...the link is simply a way to try and promote my website without hsaving to resort to spamming jackholes like you...my problems with our current president are considerable and simple, not the least the afghani opimu warlords the bush administration has seen fit to run the country...that is not make-believe, that is fact, based on the GNP of afghanistan after the overthrow of the taliban...i agree with your stance on iraq, only on the basis of our government having sold iraq the weapons in the first place...what about israel and palestine, whom the u.s. has sold weapons to and continues to do to this very day...asking to follow a guy who's solution to the problem is to play both sides of the fence...i can tell your comprehension of the world is slightly limited...i mean, you think the world goes away with a bonghit...must have had better stuff than what i'm getting now...but, i guess that's an discussion for another time...

Just like your country brought osama to justice!!
You dont have a clue!! How many more countries do you want to turn in to war zones as you spread your democracy. You support George Bush for making the middle east unstable and thus causing a worldwide energy shortage.

This may be of interest to you:- Iraq, about the same land area as California, was created in 1920 when the French and the British divided up the formerly Ottoman-controlled lands in the Middle East. Read more about Iraq's History. In 1945 Iraq was one of the founding members of the United Nations. Between January, 1985 and August, 1990, the U.S. Department of Commerce approved 771 licenses for exporting $1.5 billion worth of dual-use items (items with both civilian and military uses) to Iraq. Those exports ranged from WMD biological agents like anthrax and West Nile fever germs to personal computers and civilian helicopters. From March 19, 2003, the day war was declared, to January 30, 2005, the day of Iraq's first free election, the U.S. has contributed over 80% of the troops in the conflict. As of April 2002, according to the Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS), 21 different countries are either known, probable, or possible possessors of weapons of mass destruction. April Glaspie, former ambassador to Iraq, met with Saddam Hussein on July 25, 1990. Saddam asked her what the U.S. position would be if Iraq invaded Kuwait. Six days later Saddam's armies attacked Kuwait.

Excellent summary, it reminded me on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Independent ! Here are some details (you know, who to whom & why, and all that)… http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iran-Iraq_War , it is in-depth note from encyclopedia… it' cool because you can also see what was actually done with those weapons… As a matter of fact, here is the fact: With more than 100,000 Iranian victims of Iraq's chemical weapons during the eight-year war, Iran is one of the world's top afflicted countries by weapons of mass destruction… & FYI Remember how The Independent used to mock the excessive coverage which it believes other British newspapers give the British monarchy by deliberately underplaying royal news. When it was announced that Charles, Prince of Wales would marry Camilla Parker-Bowles in 2005, The Independent mentioned it in a small box on its front page among eleven other items under the heading "HERE IS THE NEWS YOU MAY HAVE MISSED". Similar play has been given to news of royal births. I think such things about BBC today…:)) |

from now on until the November elections we will have all kinds of "terrorist" instances that will foil down to nothing. I hope the American public is smart enough to see thru Karl Rove's election propaganda ploy.

That is the greatest worry though: that people WONT see through Rove's lies and everything connected. I heard yesterday on the radio in the car a story that so much tells how it really is with Bush and his mates/promises. An old lady in New Orleans had lost her house last year with Katrina: so Bush comes by on april 16 with all television stations and fanfare. Photos are being taken, him with his arm around this poor lady and telling everyone that he is going to rebuild her house, starting tomorrow.(april 17). Within a few weeks she would be able to cook him a dinner in her new kitchen! Everyone applauds, photos are being made, Bush goes back to his helicopter and flies to his ranch. Now, august 16, nothing has happened. On April 17 some people came by and took the rest of the stuff out of the poor womans house, chucked it into a garbabe truck and went. Since that moment no one has been back. The woman lives now with her daughter in a small house at the other side of New Orleans. This story tells you the promises Bush and Co. make, even stories that are not earth shattering for world peace, but important for the Amiercan people. But even those he can not keep... PS by the way, it was not just a story which you can always think might be fabricated by someone who does not like Bush, no, they played all the recordings made on the day of Bush's visit to New Orleans. You heard Bush make the promise, you heard the old lady thank him and then the last recording was made life, on august 16, where the lady was visited by the reporter, and told him nothing had happened. She was on the point of collapsing and bursting in tears. |
