Talks focus on fighting racism - Santa Cruz Sentinel

What a waste of time. Nobody around here is going to change their opinions or views about people they like or dislike because of these political stunt meetings. Total joke. The organizers of this joke are clueless. People that don't like Mexicans, illegal aliens, whites, etc. are most likely very hardened in their attitudes towards other races.

What about fighting the mass illegal immigration plague we're dealing with? What about fighting the exponentially growing gang and violence problem we read about in the SC Sentinel daily amongst the latino population in this area?. Don't think that the rampant illegal immigration of Mexicans and others from south of the border is not starting to piss people off in SC and creating racist views towards these folks.

Texas Branch, Irving are small communities fighting to survive. These Texas small towns are like Hazleton, Pennsylvania and state of Arizona, Georgia, Oklahoma, Rhode Island that have decided to stop the hemorrhaging of funds for their social services, overcrowded schools, free health care its local jails tapped by illegal foreign nationals. The federal SAVE ACT (h.R.4088) is all encompassing and will bring to a halt the travesty of immigration 'Rule of Law.' In every state, county and small community none have remained untouched by this epidemic of destitute and poor humanity sweeping into America for free taxpayer handouts. Yes! Many of these illegal aliens work to support their large extended families, but exploitation by predator employers do not cover living cost. Because health care is free, with no questions asked? They crowd into overwhelmed hospitals throughout the United States.

Here is some additional facts about the Federal SAVE ACT (H.R.4088. Millions of illegal foreign nationals, once they cannot get a job, will start leaving the states at their own accord. This is called 'ATTRITION or simply put they will self-deport. The E-verify system is to eliminate predator employers, who exploit cheap labor. Businesses hire foreign nationals so they can pay sub-standard and no benefits. In addition most illegal labor gets paid under the table, so their is no health insurance or mandatory workers compensation. In most cases no federal or state taxes are paid, along with many other perks. Farmers can be some of the worst predator employers, who by law in the guest worker program, have certain requirements they have to perform. Decent transportation to pick up migrant workers, edible food and livable housing. They must also keep accurate records of wages and hours, which they do not like. hence they like to hire illegal cheap labor, that are not involved in the guest worker program. Currently leading Democrats are pushing for millions of more guest workers. House speaker Pelosi's reason, is because she is a grape plantation owner in Central California. So the reason is obvious. Outside of guest worker programs illegal aliens are taking a large percentage of jobs in casino's, teachers, longshoreman, construction, security guards just to name a few.
That's why American citizens and permanent residents need the protection of the Federal SAVE ACT (H.R.4088) The save act is not perfect, but the pro-illegal immigrant lobby leads you to believe their are millions of errors, when investigating workers. Some mistakes yes, but not in access. Even Federal employers have been verified through this system.
Remember this is the last chance we have, before Obama, Hillary or McCain as President enacts a massive AMNESTY.

Hey I have an idea, want don't you baby sit Tony Madrigals dog. Since that filthy thing takes priority over other issues in the city. Then Tony can not be so distracted and formulate a sentence when he speaks at the council meetings.

These anti-racism forced diversity meetings actually stir up the hornets nest and make it worse. They divert the problems that plague our county and our nation. By we saying what the problem is then we are called racist/bigots when race has nothing to do with it.

I want to feel safe and send my kids to schools that teach a quality education. A school system that is funded with my money!

The comments above only prove why these forums and discussions are needed. Seems like our country does have a long way to go. I like to see these people come out in person to the forum, and make these remarks. But I doubt they would have the courage to do that.

I have tried for a looooong time to get people like you to have an honest discussion of the ecological implications of mass immigration into California.
