William Jefferson Clinton, when he ran against Bush Sr.--------Rookie. Quit with the hypocrisy. It does your camp no good. This is when you really start acting and looking like the status quo, and this is why the Clinton camp is struggling. You've already disenfranchised all the young voters, because you've tried to make it into an AGE WAR! There went 1/4 of your voting base right there.

McCain doesn't think he needs to do anything different except go around and meet with the youth and etc and they will miraculously like him.

I'd much rather see Clinton win but it will be Obama and he will also win over McCain.

If they happen to agree to a combined ticket, say Obama/Clinton, Mrs. Clinton will never like being second billing. I do mean NEVER. I don't know if I would trust her on a ticket. She might do something inside Obama's administration to discredit him, and force him to have to resign. Then she would become the Prez. Don't say it could neve happen.

If Hillary Clinton gets the nomination come November I'm voting a straight GOP ticket, regardless who she picks for a running mate!

Then I will try to persuade everyone I know and ask them to try and persuade everyone that they know to vote a straight GOP ticket in November.

It is as Senator Obama stated; change happens from the bottom up.

Rock on Obama!
Ellen Degeneras asked Barack what he would do his first day in office. Barack replied, "i'll sit the desk and say this is cooool." This response is fun, funny, cool, lite, it is NOT however, presidential. If your child was fighting in Iraq you wouldn't want Barack taking the first 24 hours to explore the "coolness" of the oval office. To me, Barack's response is SMUG. We've had SMUG for the past 8 years. Give us intelligence. Give us articulate. Give us capable. Give us strong. Give us resilient. Give us REAL CHANGE. Give us HILLARY.
I saw this on the SNL web page...and it was right on

With all due respect; I think it's a good, healthy thing for someone under as much unbearable pressure as Obama and Clinton (both, admittedly) to maintain a sense of humor. I doubt you can fairly say Obama is unintelligent, unarticulate or not resilient.
You might claim he's inexperienced - and I'll give you that - but the fact that he has not been in office as long (LOOOOOONG) as hillary has been, speaks to how you can't - fairly - suggest he's not strong, either.
He didn't come from candyland. He didn't hail from Mayberry. The guy didn't have a piece-of-cake life growing up, yet he graduated Harvard.
I'd say he's strong.

I hope that Obama supporters and those who are undecided will look past his oratory skills to some of the real issues such as his voting record.
Those who have done research on Obama's voting record know about his "oops" and "present" votes in the Illinois senate and him dodging the Iran resolution vote in the United States senate. He has been planning to run for president for several years and has been basing many of his votes on how he wants his actual voting record to read. It is well known that senators have a difficult time running for President because opponents can use their voting history against them.
If Obama gets the presidency, will HE change? One of his personal goals will be to win a second term in 2012. ALL people who vote for him should take the responsibility to speak out if they see a pattern emerging of his decisions being based on what he wants his record to read instead of what is best for our country.
Here are 2 interesting articles about his voting record...

Case in point re: Obama

On Obama's 16-month Iraq withdrawal plan, Power told BBC that it was a “best-case scenario,” that nothing firm could be decided in March 2008 without seeing the situation on the ground in Jan. 2009 and that "He will, of course, not rely on some plan that he’s crafted as a presidential candidate or a U.S. Senator."

I agree with this position. However, is it not a complete change from what he has been saying on the campaign trail? How can we believe anything the candidate of change says? I thought he was about transparency. This just sounds like politics as usual.

Very disappointed.

At least McCain didn't try to hide behind false promises.
